Apartamentos Playa Negra

Easy check-in, the host was very helpful with anything we needed, spacious apartment with A/C in each bedroom. Great location a block from Playa Negra and just across the bridge from Puerto Viejo.

Lacked hooks for towels to hang after showering and only 1 bowl was available in the kitchen.

Neighborhood has a lot of barking dogs, but that is common over there. But I had earplugs so didn’t suffer from it.

Spacious. Relatively well equipped kitchen. Around a 5 minute walk to the very narrow Playa Negra and 15 minutes to town (shops, restaurants, etc). AC functioned well in the bedrooms but struggled to cool the rest of the apartment. Despite the issues we had, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Beds were ok, but not very comfortable. Issues with water. The internet is in a different apartment, so when it stopped working there was no internet until those people returned home and reset it (happened to us multiple times). Host was responsive up until they revieved payment, and then became quite unresponsive with issues and questions. Surrounded by loud dogs which bark all night. No sidewalk and very few lights on the road, so you have to be very careful walking to/from town.

Spacious and cleanish, wash machine, aircon in both rooms, and location.

We actually got different appartment as advertised, very basic, no character, not enough towels, kitchen was very poorly equipped, not enough cutleries and basic cooking equipment. Even if we asked, we only received towels, but not cooking equipment. We stayed for a week and advertising as self-catering, this was quite a issue for us. One bed was comfortable, however the other bed was very old and not comfortable at all, also pillows were the worst pillows ever. Bathroom was a bit dated, no hooks to put towels, clothes. You can hear people walking upstairs.

The apartment is super clean and a great space. Rooms and shower are comfortable and the kitchen has a great equipment

Communication with staff due in part to us being unfamiliar with their mode of communication and the lack of wifi. We had no face to face co tact until dag 3

For 3 guezts there 2 towels and the stove did not work The managef gave us 1 night free and pro.ised to fix the stove but did not We would not stay here again. Sad thd property has real pote tial BTW part of fhe co..unicommunication problelm was ouf inability to connect witb you to resolve these issues
