The location was perfect for early morning arrival at Manuel Antonio National Park. This was the reason we selected this accommodation. You would likely want to drive to where most of the restaurants are located further from the park toward Quepos but we were able to walk to nearby restaurants for dinner both nights. Parking is included in a lot behind the apartment. Note that the lot is used for the park as well so it was empty when we arrived in the evening and filling up quickly the following morning. That being said, we were surprised that leaving during the late morning was as straightforward as it was (just tight at times with tour buses on narrow streets). We didn't move our car during our 2 night stay until we checked out as we walked everywhere but were told by the host that we would be guaranteed a spot if we left and returned (this was not initially clear to us). The apartment was relatively easy to find using the GoogleMaps address for "Parking Manuel Antonio Park". The apartment itself was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. I was anticipating noise might wake us up early in the morning due to its proximity to the park entrance, but we were able to sleep in no problem the second night. The temperature is comfortable with air conditioning and two large ceiling fans. The kitchen was fairly well equipped with a coffee maker, blender, microwave, and rice cooker, but we did not use those appliances. It has a large fridge and a convenience store below the apartment with some basic food items that opened at 7 AM on the day we went. I'd recommend taking advantage of this place to buy some basic breakfast items (yogurt, toast) rather than worrying about finishing at a restaurant in time if you have an early morning tour. The shower was large with good water pressure and hot water although the shower head kept sliding down/not staying in place.

There was an occasional bad smell in the apartment, and it was hard to tell where it was coming from (restaurant below?). We mostly just noticed it when returning to the apartment after leaving. We also were rather uncomfortable with the check-in process. The Booking.com listing misrepresents the staff as able to speak English (mentions it as a language spoken at the property). I had been communicating with the host in English via WhatsApp about our arrival. When we arrived ~6:30 PM, we met up with a different person who showed up where to park. Parking was easy, and we appreciated that he was on-time to meet us. However, he did not speak any English, and regrettably we do not speak Spanish. He was essentially just there to coordinate parking and provide us with the apartment key, but was unable to communicate any of the typical check-in information due to the language barrier. My partner and I offered to facilitate communication with Google Translate but he declined and walked out in the middle of the exchange. This was despite him trying to relay what sounded like important information regarding our car. I honestly wasn't even sure whether this individual was the host or not when we first interacted with him, so it just made for a very awkward and confusing situation and initial impression. That being said, the host was able to answer our basic questions via WhatsApp later that evening, although his English was also limited. Regarding parking security, the parking lot is not fenced or locked although there are security cameras.

the property was right next to the park, it is literally 2 min from the entrance and you can leave your car park the entire day!

clean, comfortable bed, strong air conditioning, close to national park, very helpful and flexible host, big apartment, new facilities (microwave, toilet, etc.), host offered to do laundry for us.

inconsistent water pressure in toilet (tap spits out water at you), no water boiler and hairdryer, walk up to apartment is unsightly with strong smell from restaurant below.

Perfect location right next to the park entrance and less than 5 minutes walk to the nearest free beach. Great amenities. Very clean and secure.

A bit of noise from outside early in the morning since people meet to enter the park before it opens at 7.

the location is perfect! right in front of the entrance to the park. there is a restaurant right downstairs walking for 5-10 min to the village center and to the bus station and the public beach, and many restaurant on the way the room is big with a balcony and kitchen. big bathroom. 2 queen beds. perfect for a family there is air conditioning saw a deer and sloth and frog nearby

it is an apartment with no reception or lobby. it's outside when I open my door. I was staying by myself so the first night I was feeling a bit unease. but felt better the second night when I get to know the place more.

Good location near food, drinks, and beach. Airconditioning was soo nice to have! Comfy and attractive apartment. Seperate small room to dry clothes on a rack was useful. Saw deer and an iguana in the parking lot. Store beneath has basic groceries and beer 😀 Very short walk to National Park entrance.

The place was spacious. Well equipped. The beds were really comfortable. The location was probably the best part. Just 50 meters from the national park entrance
