Casa Sol

Maria the hostess was lovely. Extremely helpful and very quick to reply to my messages Able to see a lot of birds from the window (including a couple of toucans). Shame the weather wasn’t great so we were not able to sit outside and appreciate the location fully. Private parking Facilities at the property suited our needs Loved the cat and the two dogs :)

The only thing I could say is that I wasn’t able to pay by card. May be card payments can be arranged via the company that is advertising the accommodation?

Nice place to stay

Very spacious house with 3 separate rooms and a large living room with kitchen. The lady of the house was very friendly and helpful and even prepared breakfast for us (for $5 extra pp).

It was raining all night and you could hear this very well on the metal roof

Location, location! Casa Sol is in a perfect location for getting to all the great Sarapiqui adventures and restaurants. The balcony is great for bird watching. We saw tucans in a tree nearby. This is a three level place, a bedroom/bathroom on the first entry floor, then up to the kitchen, and another staircase up to the bedroom (with aircon) and another bathroom, and the balcony. It was fun to stay in a neighborhood, but have easy access to everything. The kitchen wasn't much for cooking but we didn't care since the refrigerator worked and there was an induction burner for heating up food. All good!

Maria, the owner, is the sweetest person ever. She took such great care of me. It was no problem to check in early, even though she had a really busy day. She made everything work for me. The apartment is very big and the price is incredible. She told me, she would want to find something similar in other countries if she travels, so she wants to offer something nice for low budget travelers here as well. So sweet. Shower is great. Kitchen is big and nice. You have so much space

The kitchen could be better equipped and the bed could be more comfortable but I’m not complying, I still loved the place.
