Beach Heaven

Amazing location near the beach and lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Property was very spacious and clean.

There was a noise coming from the roof. We thought it was the tree branches hitting the roof and they pruned the tree but that didn’t stop the noise. Probably a unique issue with our unit in the ocean / west side of the complex but the noise was significant then it was windy and I wouldn’t pick that unit again unless the noise issue was addressed. It kept us up on some windy nights.

Location was great! Very close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Kevin and the Hotel Norte staff were amazing!

Unfortunately the pool was being renovated during our stay, but we were welcome to use the Hotel Norte pool instead.

Everything was absolutely amazing. The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and surrounded by lush nature, creating a truly peaceful atmosphere. The facilities are spotless, with a beautiful pool and common areas decorated with great taste. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and cool, with thoughtful details everywhere. A key highlight was the host’s attention: always friendly, attentive, and willing to help with anything we needed, making the experience even more special. It truly feels like a hidden paradise in Playa Guiones!

Honestly, nothing. It exceeded all our expectations.

Access to the beach and town was excellent. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Property is very well equipped but could use a bit of maintenance (e.g., broken cupboard, chipped tile in the kitchen).

As indicated by other reviewers, the site is adjacent to a construction site and there was noise and dust. This is used for doing construction elsewhere so it's likely long-term. We had access to the Norte pool and bar which helped a lot. Some items listed on booking.com were absent (e.g., toaster, sofa bed). Also, there was a planned power outage for 8 hours and it would have been helpful to know this in advance. Some sort of information booklet would have been helpful (e.g., where to take the garbage/recycling, relationship to Norte so that renters know they have access to this).

We did not have breakfast included. Were we supposed to?

There is an outdoor work shop right next door and almost constant sound of machinery, sanders and saws. The track of of one of the slider doors was in very poor shape, making it difficult to open and shut the slider door access to 1923

Great location!! Walking distance to shops, beach, restaurants. Very spacious, full kitchen, parking and a nice pool.

Some bugs in the villa. Pretty sure they were termites. And awful smell on the road in front. And the construction!! They start next door at 6:30am even on a Sunday!
