Renovated Guest Suite Near The Lake & High Park in Toronto!

Clean, quiet and comfortable

The property is awesome, not far from the centre of Toronto, and 5’ from the lakeshore. Very easy access from the Airport (20’ max). Mika and Ankur are very reactive and respond to messages extremely quickly. Cleanliness was very good and all cooking accessories were there for breakfast, lunch/dinner.

Nothing, as all was close to perfection.

Perfect location with plenty around. Terrific communication from the very hospitable and accommodating owners. Better than any hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The suite also provided convenient amenities such as a full-sized fridge, stove, washer and dryer, utensils, towels, soap/shampoo, etc. Highly recommended if traveling in or around Toronto

Superb location. A short walk from Lake Ontario and lake front board walks, and the Humber River pedestrian bridge. Also, a short walk to Toronto's magnificent High Park. Just across the street, is a Toronto streetcar stop--this is a great way to see the city.

There were several serious problems. FIRST PROBLEM This is not a first floor apartment, which I was led to believe was the case. Instead, it is a basement apartment with almost no outdoor ventilation. Through the un-openable front windows you only see wheels of parked cars. The back windows are tiny in size, and although can be opened, provide almost no ventilation. Even though the apartment has a stove, you cannot cook there because there is no ventilation. SECOND PROBLEM The owners of the building live immediately above the rented unit. We could hear all of their steps, walking, and movement of furniture. This was particularly disturbing when I tried to take my afternoon naps (I am elderly, with limited health, and must nap every day.) Also, they went to bed after we did, so falling asleep was difficult due to the sounds they made. THIRD PROBLEM The staircase from the apartment to the first floor unit when the owners live, has a clear glass wall with a clear glass lockable door. The owners could come downstairs at any moment, and look at us. This a most strange and disturbing architectural design. We felt as if we were animals on display at a zoo.

Such a lovely, comfortable apartment with great facilities. Great location with public transport eg.. trams, buses nearby to take you downtown. Excellent shower!!! Wonderful welcoming host with great tips and excellent communication

A tea-towel in the kitchen would be useful

The unit was very clean and had some extra touches such as snacks and breakfast cereals provided Ankur was very helpful and provided lots of information about facilities in the area and how to get around on public transport

We had a great stay at Ankur's and Mira's place! Very good and prompt communication. They really go above and beyond for the guests. The suite was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The suite feels very luxurious. The bed is very comfortable. We were treated as family members. Best spot and will come again! Thank you!

Everything was great!

The suite was really comfortable, clean and had great utilities for cooking our own meals. We loved the location, near the park and close to the lake. A tram in front of the house will bring you to the center of Toronto. The host is really friendly and helpful, thanks for sharing your home with us!
