Lake View Residence

The place is spacious with a nice view. My main reason for booking this place was because of air conditioning but they only have one portable air conditioner in the living room. The bedrooms can not be cooled by it because the house has so many floors. The beds and linens are clean. Toiletries are provided. We would have loved to sit on the patio or keep some windows open but you can't because there are no screens to keep the insects out. They have 1 full bathroom on the top floor, a shower stall with a sink in the basement and a sink with a toilet on the main floor. The shower stall in the basement has drains where insects come in so we only used the full bathroom on the top floor and the half bath on the main floor. The location itself is not bad. It is quiet even with the train station. If you drive up the road, there is a small supermarket but if you drive about ten minutes you will find a Coop at Interlaken Ost. If you come by train, you can get off at the train stop below and walk up the driveway to the front of the house. Otherwise you will need to climb a lot of stairs. If you come by car, they have parking space for you that they charge but drive slowly so you can find the driveway to go down to park.

The floors are dirty. We couldn't walk without our feet turning black. The place needs a good cleaning in the kitchen and the floors. Communication with the owner is dicey. He could be better.

The location is amazing, the view is outstanding, having parking is also a plus, train station is few meters away, overall great studio, maybe the host can just renew the furniture so it matches the level of the location.

0 no items in kitchen, like spices, towels a little less for the whole stay, no fans in rooms, garbage bags, paper towels, , dryer was.not working

Close to the train station, but only one train every hour. Outside view is good. Room is big, shower towns are soft.

TV didn't work first night, only have swizzland power point (not Europe standard) so we have to buy a special adapter. All emails says we booked "Lake View Residence - 20" but actually it was "Lake View Residence - 20 studio".
