Great price for the stay. Incredible view from the accommodation. The kitchen, though not exceptional, met our needs. The presence of a bunker for emergencies added a unique touch. Convenient self-check-in process.

One of the beds was not the most comfortable. The location, although a pleasant 30-minute walk from Interlaken, is not near public transportation. Unaddressed issue with the shower curtain that has been previously mentioned in other reviews; however, we improvised with a squidgy stick to enhance the experience.

Our accommodation experience had its fair share of challenges. The lack of communication and guidance from the host before check-in made the arrival quite tricky. We had no instructions on which apartment was ours and had to search the entire place for guest cards essential for free public transport in Interlaken. After contacting the host later VIA WHATSAPP! (which worked), we found out the cards were on the second floor, hidden in a drawer and unmarked. Unfortunately, without a stamp, they were invalid, necessitating a trek to the city's tourist office for validation. This oversight impacted the convenience of our stay and made the initial part more challenging than expected. The shower drain didn't work, causing bathroom flooding. We had to find and fix it ourselves, constantly sweeping away water during showers, making our stay less comfortable. A notable advantage was the availability of a washer and dryer. Tip from us: - Enhancing the booking information to specify communication via WhatsApp and pre-emptively notify guests of the 3.50CHF city tax payable upon arrival (online via link / cash) would promote fairness, transparency, and prevent inadvertent dual taxation, ensuring a smoother and more equitable booking experience. - Additionally, providing advanced details about the apartment's location (first or second floor) and instituting automated check-in instructions would substantially streamline arrivals and enhance overall guest satisfaction. - Also, it would greatly enhance the guest experience if the host could offer tips on nearby supermarkets, bus stops, and navigating the area. It felt like the rental lacked attention to guest comfort.

Good location, clean, enough space

The front door was not locking. If we go out we have to keep the door open. 🤦🏻‍♀️ there was no secure front door! Please try to fix that, everything else is very good.

Lovely views, 20 min walk from the train station. Has the bus stop very close by. Currently in the process of installing new heating. The accommodation has great potential if there was any consideration for guests at all.

Communication was atrocious. No check-in instructions (the room was left unlocked, with the key inside, we walked in after waiting outside for 45 minutes in winter and hoped we were in the right place). The host didn't respond to messages in the app for several hours/at all at times. Phone calls went directly to the answering machine. The stove top wasn't working which we only found out on arrival (there was no communication about this before arrival at all, just a note on the stove top) so we couldn't actually cook anything in the kitchen. A small heater in the bedroom plus a small fan heater and the use of a dehumidifier around the clock just managed to get the room to a comfortable temperature. The bathroom is nice, but the shower curtain was mouldy and 10cm above the ground so a lot of splashing. Water tracks out of the shower flooding the bathroom floor with every shower. There was helpfully a mop provided to manage the flooding. Additionally the drain was blocked with hair so there was very slow drainage which exacerbated the flooding. (This has been mentioned as an issue in multiple reviews). There was no Wifi for the first two days and we raised it multiple times, these messages were not responded to. On the third day we had wifi. We were vaguely instructed where to find tourist cards (which should be provided by all accommodation in Interlaken giving access to free public transport in interlaken) only when we asked for them. Additionally, they don't advertise until you arrive that there is an additional interlaken tourist tax that you need to pay - we also had to ask them how much this would be at which time they sent us a link to pay it. You're required to you do all of your dishes, strip your bed, put your laundry in the washing basket (we had no washing basket so were unable to do this) and take out your rubbish before leaving.

It was just like being at home. All the facilities we needed, everything worked perfectly, and was easy to find and operate. And after many apartments with dim lighting it was lovely to have perfect lighting . Of course it's not a hotel but we found it far more comfortable. And yes the car park is a little tight so do be careful especially if you arrive at night like we did

The location is perfect. The apartment is big enough for a family to spend quality time.

Need a bit more communication, they did not pick up the phone. Usually reply to messages a bit late. No real instructions of keys or parking ... need to pay local tax per person per night

This is a wonderful property especially when you are travelling with family.View from balcony is very nice and Interlaken city centre is just 6 mins ride.

The living area, dining area and kitchenette with complete utensils. It's a residential area so it is so quiet especially at night. The people living upstairs were considerate too, they keep it down at around bedtime. The owner responded quickly to your queries.

The shower took so long to drain. Had to take a very quick shower so it won't flood the washroom. It gets hot in the evening and there's no AC in the bedroom.
