Casa Cafetal Aeropuerto

Cute and convient place to stay. Very close to the airport!

The location was right near the airport but also close to food. The neighborhood was very walkable and safe. The beds were comfy and the apartment was quite spacious. Great value for those who need a stay near the airport!

The location was a little loud for sleeping - there were sirens and cars (but c'est la vie!). Luckily, the host provided ear plugs. We did see a few critters during our stay but nothing unexpected for CR :)

Just coming back to give another review following our second stay at Casa Cafetal following our arrival at SJO and having stayed for two further nights at the end of our trip in Costa Rica. Everything was perfect as before. We had a rental car on our final day and were able to easily park into the gated parking space provided. We used the washing machine/dryer to wash our clothes - maybe some basic instructions to start might help - but it was quite straightforward after working out how to use it. All the cooking facilities were great and it's very convenient to get some groceries at Fresh Market over the road from the house. Once again, the host Manuel was excellent. Make sure to ask him for some tips on local customs, driving and places to visit before your trip as it is so helpful!

Nice, clean and comfortable. We spent only one night, it was a perfect place to recover from the long journey. Host was very kind and prompt with answering all questions and providing details.

Convenient location, the access to the apartment was easy, everything was quite comfortable. One of the rooms is noisy (you can hear various sounds from outside) but the host will provide you with earplugs that help. The apartment is also close to a mall, so it is easy to grab food in the night.

Casa Cafetal is conveniently located close to the airport, which was great as we arrived really late at night in Costa Rica and didn't fancy staying in the city centre with an onward trip out of town the next day. We also rented a car from a car rental close to the airport. The apartment had everything we needed, including cooking and laundry facilities. Secure (gated) parking. There are restaurants, mini supermarket and ATM across the road, which was very handy. The host, Manuel, is friendly and was very responsive in answering our questions both before and during our trip. We had a comfortable stay and would really recommend staying here.

Great location, close to the airport and the mall is across the street. The owner is nice and welcoming.

The shower did not have hot water, but it was fixed the next day.
