Good location for us with car hire. Close to airport and very secure. Easy enough shopping places nearby. Manuel, the host, was lovely and went above and beyond to help.

Operating the security gate wasn’t immediately obvious, but nothing a quick call to host didn’t sort.

Perfect location and incredible communication from Manuel! Genuinely excellent place to spend the evening after arriving at the airport and before heading off to La Fortuna.

Located very close to the airport, yet in a comfortable neighborhood with an excellent breakfast restaurant within walking distance. The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It is a great value and Manuel was very helpful.

A nice, clean apartment in a safe location close to the airport. I stayed on the other side of Alajuela when I arrived to Costa Rica, and this was definitely the superior location. Lots of mall and restaurant options nearby, including a Kolbi to get your SIM card activated. The host was very friendly and helpful, with specific directions on how to find the apartment and get your keys, and he called us a taxi when we left (3500 colones). The shower was one of the nicest we had in Costa Rica, including the good quality (and quantity!) towels. The kitchen wasn't big, but had all you needed if you wanted to cook a meal yourself. There was laundry available if you needed it. There wasn't a living room, just a smaller dining table, but that was enough for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, and there was room for luggage.

Like everywhere in Costa Rica, you had to choose between being a little stuffy or potentially letting mosquitoes in. There were very large fans provided in both bedrooms, though, which not only helped cool off but also drown out any potential road noise. You could hear the neighbors, especially when they came or left, but they were overall quiet. The owner provides earplugs if needed.

Small, modest yet comfortable accommodation was immaculately clean, with attention to pretty details in the well equipped kitchen. There is even a washing machine if needed. Warm shower and lovely fluffy towels. WiFi very good. Beds were comfy. Parking is for a mid-sized SUV. Neighbors are close and audible, but not rowdy. We stayed 2 nights before departing from SJO airport, after our 3-week round trip in Costa Rica. GREAT location in pretty street: 4km from SJO, 500m from the Plaza Real Mall with its good eateries and 1.5 km from "old" Alajuela. Host communicated a few days earlier with helpful details about the address, a photo for the location, and key entry. It is a great accommodation to start or end a trip in Costa Rica. We would stay longer.
