Very cute and unique property, made out of converted shipping containers. You can tell there is some experience here with short-term rentals. They've got laminated instructions all over the place, for example telling you how to use the hot tub. Parking was easy enough, and the instructions sent a day or so before we arrived had good pictures and made it nearly foolproof to figure out how to get in, get parked, and get the security system unarmed. It did blare for about 20 seconds before we figured it out, but no police showed up thankfully. The hot tub is very nice, easy to use. Doesn't get as hot as I'd like, but I'm sure it's a reasonable temperature for most. The room was very comfortable. We didn't use the TV (but we might if it had an HDMI cable available!), but the AC was solid (only activated when you're home) and the bed was comfortable. The laundry station was a big highlight for us! They've got a somewhat retro laundry machine where you can only do small loads and you have to somewhat manually swap between modes, but it was all easy to figure out and the clothes came out great. I appreciated the coffee machine and container full of grounds. You're not going to get the best coffee ever with preground coffee, but it was just fine for waking up and watching the birds from the porch. Location was awesome -- you can walk into the center of the small town and have access to a ton of great restaurants within a few minutes walk. We spent most of our dining time at a Greek fusion place right across the street. We also loved being just a few minutes drive from some of the bigger attractions like the Bogarin trail, zip-lining, etc. We had a rental car and it was easy to navigate, with a nearby gas station, too.

There's no blind on one of the windows for the shower/hot tub room. This means neighbors can pretty easily look in and see you. Worse, there's a camera that is pointed towards that window from outside with a moveable camera. I hope it's not pointed that way on purpose, but it really sketched us out. The shower's water temperature is unpredictable. It flashes from hot to cold and back seemingly randomly during the shower. We just learned to stand outside the stream and only duck in when the water seemed good.

Walkable to the town square and many restaurants. The place was comfortable, quiet and fully met our needs.

Finding the home initially was challenging but with Waze and WhatsApp we were able to communicate with the management and figure it out. Note that check-in time is probably not earlier than 3 pm (15:00) unless you make special arrangements.

The location is great. It's close to everything but a bit off the crowded area. The Jacuzzi tub is a great addition.

This property is at a perfect location close to so many restaurants and shops. Everything is at a walking distance. Very comfortable apartment with amazing views and natural beauty. Special thanks to Matias for being super helpful with all our questions and also helped us book a couple of amazing tours in La Fortuna!

It was a pretty spacious place, The jacuzzi was a nice touch. We stayed only one night but enjoyed it a lot. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, great shower, big garden and terrace. Close to shops and restaurants. Communication with the staff via WhatsApp was great. Thanks Mathias for your help and early check in. Highly recommend this place

Only issue - bed needed another blanket! Too thin. Everything else was perfect!

Away from noisy main streets but very close walking distance. Property is well maintained with lots of trees and foliage making it private and attractive. Nice and comfortable area to sit outside with lots of birds around. Apartment is well designed, functional, clean and in excellent condition with all that is needed, including full kitchen, coffee and sugar, laundry facility, drying rack, shampoo and conditioner etc. Very safe environment in gated compound, with alarm system and safety deposit box. Excellent communication with owner/manager. Attention to details.
