Studio in heart of Limassol

The hostess was very kind and it was in the heart of the city. There was no soundproofing at all, we could hear the people next door and generally everything around. the hostess had not checked if the hot water was working, so at night while we wanted to sleep an electrician came and fixed it. There was not a single bottle of water or coffee for the morning. there was no running water in the sink in the kitchen. The entrance to the apartment building was scary as was the huge balcony of the apartment. The elevator was very old. The security of the windows was inadequate.

The host is lovely lady, made sure to give all the instructions in a little detail. The location is supercentral next to the beach promenade, port and old town. Inside the apartment everything is well looked after, clean. Small kitchen, good bathroom. And this positives important to mention just be fair but the overall feedback is rather bad.

The scariest and the most overpriced place I ever stayed in my life. Getting into apartment building, which is definitely in the emergency state, is quite a quest. My male friends walked me to the door of the apartment every evening to make sure I'm safe and never used a lift no to get stuck in it. The apartment is surrounded by a massive terrace, which is shared with another neighbour at the other side of the building. And the view of are abandoned broken office building ,but yes the sea view too. Apartment doesn't have windows, only sliding balcony doors. So if you want a fresh air have to keep the door wide open. And considering the opened terrace, can get potentially get uninvited guests in the night. First night I kept it open,on the 2nd night didn't have enough courage. If you are short in time for research and need a bed in the good location - go for it if slum surroundings don't scare you. Not recommended for a single ladies

The apartment is very near the seaside and the beach, restaurants, cafes, bars and shops at the heart of old Limassol.

A great sized apartment for my stay, great balcony with a decent view. Had everything i needed for a comfortable stay.

A few things that are at no fault of the property owner so it’s unfair to list.

Near to the old town

The building is a almost derelict. Very dirty building. The security door to the building didn’t work. No lighting in the evening, felt very unsafe. The air conditioning stopped working on the first morning, we asked to leave and have the next 2 nights refunded, but she moved us to the next door apartment. This was slightly better as the air conditioning worked. The rest of the apartment was really hot. It needs double glazing and proper block out curtains. The lady said that all of the buildings in Cyprus were like this, but they were not.

Central location. Clean apartment (even if some big cockroaches inside).

In my opinion, the flat is very expensive for what it offers. The building is old and scary, semi-abandoned and dirty without good lighting. Complete darkness in the corridor from the elevator to the flat, so the owner advised me to use the torch of my phone... (apparently she does not want to pay some money to install a sensor light). She only complained about the bad maintenance of the building, as if this was the problem of the client who pays correctly for renting this flat. She also advised me not to leave the balcony doors open, because of the many "bad people and Syrians" in this area. The owner gives advise where to buy water and food, but she does not spend 0,5€ for a bottle of water waiting for you in the fridge when you first arrive in the extreme heat of Limassol. Accordingly, in the flat there is absolutely nothing for your first small needs (as it happens everywhere): no sugar, no coffee, no salt or pepper... I was in the flat on the right: the "view" is mainly the back side of office buildings and a part of the sea on the left. The terrace is a big and completely empty space without any shadow. If the price was lower, maybe that could be OK. Next time I will look for something better in the same range of money.

External facilities entrance, etc., not up to standard not cleani atall and very offputting. Basically it looks like a slum.

The overall appearance of the external building needs to be improved as well as the entrance for the elevator. Safety light goes off too quickly to have light while waiting for the slow elevator.
