Central Park Holiday apartment

All the beds had bed bugs. The flooring was broken. Bathroom had broken sensor lights and it did not work at all. The bathrooms were stinking.

The location was AWESOME, you can't beat it!! There are great views from all the bedrooms. We were right by the park. Lots of windows, the amount of beds were great for our party of seven. We stayed in the 2nd floor apartment. No one had to sleep on a couch. There's also a balcony (but no seating).

There's so much that was wrong. Kitchen It was all a mess. We got an apartment to be able to cook as a family of seven. We were NOT able to cook. Everything in the kitchen was DIRTY. They basically only wiped the countertop. The utensils and pots are all old and severely used, they need to be replaced!! We ended up eating out for every single meal which was SUPER expensive in Switzerland!! Stairways There was a dirty mop and vacuum that just sat in the hallway the entire time. The hallway was never cleaned. The stairways and apartment was musty whenever the doors/windows were closed. There are broken windows, curtains, shutters and broken floor tiles throughout. Old repair materials were just left in the apartment on top of a shelf. One of the lines on the clothing rack was broken and it was rusted. The TV was awkwardly mounted in the corner so it could not be rotated. Beds The pillows and sheets are cheap and REALLY OLD. There was hair all over one of the beds. There's not enough storage space despite the rooms being big. There was ONLY TWO HANGERS and one shelf inside each little closet. The curtains were old and barely attached to the cheap curtain rod. Bathroom The drain in one of the bathroom sinks didn't work properly. It drained SUPER slow. It was fine for just washing your hands. It smelled moldy in the bathrooms. The grouts were dirty. The trash can was RUSTY and could barely open. The bathroom floor towels also need to be replaced. Parking As mentioned above there was parking on site but spaces aren't assigned per apartment. There should be one spot assigned per apartment. Not having an assigned space meant trying to get back early to avoid finding street parking which were limited or having to pay to park in the garage. There was no attempt to remedy anything or even acknowledge our emails once we entered the apartment. The only contact was at check-in. Overall not worth the price for what you're getting.

The host/contact seldom reply. Doesn’t answer calls. Good thing he/she replied 1hr before we arrive the appartment to give instructions on how to get the keys They didn’t provide interlaken guest cards that can be used for free bus rides and several discounts There are no ventilators but big windows can be opened Some floor tiles are broken or uneven. No remote for the tv Bed sheets and kitchen utensils can be updated.

Host was very disappointing and very unresponsive. They never write back and you can see them online on whatsapp but they opt not to write back. The host replied only twice to 10-15 of my messages over 1-1.5 weeks. All the utensils were dirty (except couple of pans and plates/glasses). specially, coffee machine, toaster, over, water kettle were not in usable condition. We found bed bugs in all the beds. My brother in law got massive biting all 3 nights (picture attached) and we couldn't sleep once we found the bugs. When I complained to the host, someone entered into 1 bedroom out of 4 and just made the bed and left. When contacted again, they did not reply. This is very unprofessional and we paid ~1600 Euros for this. Now we are back home with a doubt that we have bed bugs in our luggages. We kept all the bags outside for 2 days. Last 2 days we are washing every cloth and bags that we took to the accommodation before bringing them inside. This is highly stressful. The vacation was spoilt because of this. Not sure if there is a way to lodge a formal complaint on booking.com to take an action on this. If there is, I would like you to take notice of this.

very old. No maintenance. very difficult to stay in summer. No air conditioning. no fans. owner suggested to open the windows meaning you are welcoming lot of mosquitoes. I stayed there for 4 nights. trust me. i hardly have a sleep. stay way from this apartment if you need a good sleep after a tired day
