Cozy apartment with Free Parking & close to Lake

- Very good location near Ciani Park - Unstable (during storm) but acceptable WiFi (4G)

- Average cleanliness, stains on the kitchen chairs, and I had to wash the dishes before using them - As mentioned in other reviews, the windows, although double-glazed, do not block the street noise quite constant - Likewise, the apartment’s soundproofing is nonexistent. You will hear everything, absolutely everything from the neighbors: music, children playing the flute and singing, TV and conversations, running and loud footsteps, squeaks and creaks of the floor, banging and other muffled noises - The parking space is very tight, contrary to a review that said it was large. From the markings on the ground, I can see that four spaces were turned into five smaller ones. The day I left my car parked there, I found a dent on my right door from the neighboring vehicle. After that, I never used this parking again to avoid further damage! Completely useless! In conclusion, this rental is unfortunately not cozy, because of the unbearable noise, your only desire is to leave or go out. I would call it "noisy" instead. Most importantly, since one of my main selection criteria was the parking, which in my case is unusable, this rental is irredeemably disqualified. The only positive side-effect is that since I had to find an alternative parking solution, I discovered that you can park in all of Lugano’s blue zones (and there are many) for only CHF 10/day! (via the Parkingpay app and details on the Lugano city website). So I used this option for my car, and next time I’ll be free to choose any other accommodation of better quality.

I loved both the apartment and the location.

Good check-in info and easy access to the property. Good working lift in building. Very spacious apartment with separate bedroom, lounge-dining, kitchen, and bathroom. Balcony to south with awning. Window shutters to close out light. Comfortable bed, good wifi and shower. Kitchen well equipped. Supermarkets close by. 10 minute walk to Lido and lake; 20 minutes to town centre. Pretty good buses. Not too far to Gandria. Would stay again.

The apartment was great. We were there during a heatwave so it was hot. There was a fan that helped, along with the shutters, but it was still hot. There was more street noise than expected but it was not extreme and could be cut back by closing the windows. Walk to town centre was a little long in the heat. Clearer instructions on rubbish removal and recycling would have been helpful.

Big apartment, clean, easy check in and check out, hosts very nice and willing to meet your needs.

Pricey same as all others in Lugano

The apartment is centrally located, close to the lake. It is spacious with big windows and functional furniture. The kitchen does not contain an excessive number of appliances, but it has everything you need to cook a meal.

There were bed bugs in the bed. We did not realize this immediately, because it takes some time until your body reacts. When we reported this to the hosts, they did first not believe it. When we showed them later with photos that they really were bed bugs, they were very sorry for us and promised to have the apartment professionally disinfected. Nevertheless, this spoiled our vacation to some extent.
