Sheets and towels smelled musty. One of the towels also strained.

We were allocated a very nice, spacious first-floor 3 bedroom apartment.

We were only given check in details late afternoon

Very spacious and very cheap. Marc was very helpful to us and even extended our stay when we had a health problem. We cannot fault this place or the hosts. Brilliant. If you want somewhere to stay and peace and quiet this is the apartment for you.

In the toilets there were no toilet paper when we came, after I called the owner (manager) someone came with the toilet paper after about 15 minutes. Not enough hot water for showering I asked for the receipt but never received

Only thing why i didn't give 10 points is no hot water...after long journey we had to take a shower in freezing water

I was given the apartment as shown in the sample pictures, but I understand that they have other properties in this small Saarland town. I was looking for an overnight stay in Luxembourg or into Belgium and was horrified by the high prices, then I spotted these apartments back in Germany that offer great value for money. That apartment was huge with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable seating. The bathroom was also huge with no enclosure or curtain around the shower, but it proved to have good drainage, I didn't flood the place :⁠-⁠) WiFi was secure and worked well. There is no Aircon, lots of windows and bonus points for providing a desk type fan for the bedroom as it was a warm night. When I arrived, I wasn't sure where I should be and called the number given, they spoke English and were helpful. I drove to Ali Baba's kebab place for dinner which was great, but there are other options. I parked my car on the forecourt, there are other residents in a large building, but again you may be allocated another location.

I was a little unlucky with the bed, it partially collapsed during the night. I am a normal sized guy in my 60s, I don't know what broke or was broken before but it made for an less comfortable night. I am sure this was a one off and the gentleman I spoke to to report this in the morning was reassuring about it, calling me back when his line had been busy, good service! I only stayed one night.
