"On a cold sunny winterday you sense the long history of Bamberg, Unesco World Heritage since 1993."

We loved the very special atmosphere of "Zum alten Hausla", an historical monument with 4 small apartments with a rural charm - simple, wooden interior with low ceiling - situated in a very quiet historic street connecting the impressive Domberg with the monastery on the Michaelsberg.

"Pleasant stay in Bamberg"

It was a central location with easy access the Altstadt.

There was some road construction but we were made aware of prior to arriving.
