schönes Apartment mit Festungsblick - FREE Parking -

The view of the castle is very nice, the appartment is well equipped. A bus stop and grocery shops are close to the apartment. The self checkin was easy.

The apartment was really easy to find, convenient and the view is lovely indeed. It was easy enough to get the keys.

For a one-night stay it's fine, but if you stay for a week or so you start to see issues. It really needed more lighting! A bedside lamp or a floor lamp would do a lot towards improving the atmosphere. Only cold white light from the overhead lamps is not great. The cooking equipment is old and scuffed, some pots leak. Also it's right by the highway and train tracks so if you're a light sleeper something to be aware of - it is loud. One of the cupboards was broken and stored in the apartment. The bed mattress is old and very soft. The apartment can be quite cold at night, even with the heating on.

The apartment is centrally located and has a washing machine / tumble dryer, which are otherwise not easy to get. View of beautiful castle on the hill.

Upon our arrival the washing machine was loaded with already washed bed linen, we had to empty it first and store it on the kitchen counter. Use of towels are not included in the price of the apartment, to be paid separately (although description says towels are included). E-charging station is quite a distance from the apartment.

The apartment was very convenient and comfortable for a 1-night stay as we traveled from FRA to Austria.

Parking possibility, everything was OK, comunication with owner was perfect.

The place is little bit noisy (train track and main road to the city centre).

The location was a little out of town but the view from the balcony was great. The apartment had good, clean facilities and was located in a relatively new apartment block. It was very quiet. Wurzburg is a fascinating city so allow 2 days if possible.

Transport the apartment to "downtown". We had our own rental car so plan on your our own transport or use taxi or Uber.
