The location is great and the apartment is well decorated.

The collapsible door for the bathroom was inconvenient. And as the apartment is on 2nd floor, it's not recommended for older visitors.

Host responded quickly. Easy check-in with the keybox. Comfortable beds, and a nice warm shower as well. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it seemed quite well equipped. Very affordable and in a central location.

Based on earlier reviews, I almost didn't want to book this place. But unlike other reviewers, we were not really bothered by noise from outside, and we found that the place was clean and tidy. The only downside is that it does smell a bit strange inside (old cigarettes / perfume) so if you are sensitive to that, I wouldn't recommend. Thin plastic doors in the bathroom/bedrooms, so be prepared for that if you are travelling with several people.

The location, of course, was close to everything. Many restaurants and shops. Near the water.

The WIFI did not work. This is a problem because your mobile phone provider might think you are in Switzerland because it's so close, and then you will be roaming, paying extra fees. So the WIFI is very important. It was too noisy in the area at all times of the night and early morning. There are quiet hours but apparently the neighbors and restaurants and workers don't abide by them. No convenient electrical outlets to use.

The apartment is very spacious and central in Friedrichshafen.

There are no doors between the rooms, only shutters, so it's easy for people in different rooms to wake each other up and you have less privacy.
