Bonn/Königswinter ferienwohnung

It was a very nice location.

The bed was a little uncomfortable, but for the price it was good.

Spacious apartment in a quiet location. Parking in front of the door. It's about 900m to the tram stop, but it's a quick drive into Bonn. Nearest supermarket is about a 10 min walk away, but it's easy to drive to and has parking. The bed in our room was remarkably comfortable. Nice walks nearby in the woods. We will plan to stay here again on our next trip to Bonn.

Keys were in a lockbox by the door. The host did not send us instructions in advance. This was no problem though as I sent a message upon our arrival via the app and got the instructions within minutes.

Location was good. Staff was friendly and responsive. It was very clean. There was parking.

We arrived at 5pm and the flat was still being cleaned from the previous guests. We were offered a different one, but after hearing the footsteps of the cleaner very clearly through the offered room's ceiling we decided to wait for the original room, since it was on the top floor. There was no extra bedding for the pull out couch or towels until we asked. Furniture was very sparse and there was no carpets or anything to dampen sound.The decorations are just odd. Either badly pinned posters or empty picture frames. Additionally, some renovations were poorly done with holes left in the walls and tiles, and a wire just sticking out of the wall. The bed was definitely cheap memory foam, so not very comfortable. The oven was either dirty or badly cleaned because it smoked a lot when used. When we tried to use the portable fan to help clear it, the fan was broken. Warning: when they say one bedroom, they mean it in the German way. One bedroom = a studio apartment.

The property was easily accessible and relatively close to the train/bus stations, direct trains to Bonn central. The place has a well equipped kitchen, quiet and in a very safe area. Ideal for long-term stay with a shop nearby and wonderful walks. The host was very nice and receptive to my few requests.
