Apartment in Kalamaja

Pokoj byl vybaven tak, jak bylo popsáno. Snad jen inzerované pantofle chyběly, což ale nevadilo, protože podlaha byla dokonale čistá. Potěšila nás funkční klimatizace, nastavitelné žaluzie. Při vstupu do domu nás překvapilo, jak neupraveně dům vypadá, což ostře kontrastovalo s interiérem apartmánu. Nicméně jistá ošuntělost měla svůj půvab a vlastně nám to vůbec nevadilo. Také lokalita byla výjimečná. Překvapilo nás ticho všude kolem, narušované pouze racky. Doprava v okolí zklidněná sníženou rychlostí, širokými chodníky pro chodce a cyklisty. Staré dřevěné domy podtrhovaly starobylý ráz čtvrti Kalamaja.

Bylo by fajn, kdyby kontejnery na odpad barevně souhlasily se zavedeným označením: modrá na papír, žlutá/oranžová na plasty a zelená/bílá na sklo. V kuchyni apartmánu byl pod dřezem koš na bioodpad a na toaletě malý koš. Chyběl nám koš na směsný odpad. Dále nás poněkud zneklidňovala barva vody - večer po návratu z výletu jsem zjistila, že voda nedopitá z rána lehce ztmavla. Žaludeční obtíže jsme ale neměli. Ve vybavení nám chyběly utěrky. Neměli jsme do čeho utírat nádobí. Také nás zaskočilo, že jsme nemohli používat zásuvky typu E (zasunutí zástrčky bránily dva kovové díly v horní a spodní části zásuvky).

The apartment is located approximately. 15 minutes' walk from the railway station in a quiet district of the city of Tallinn. Access to the building is from the backyard. The apartment is very spacious, it consists of a living room area, a kitchenette and a bathroom. The huge bed is very comfortable. There is everything you need to prepare a meal: a microwave, an oven, an electric kettle. There are dishes and pots. Additionally: sugar, salt, spices, coffee, tea. There is an iron and an ironing board. Shower gel & soap are also available. Reliable WiFi.

The apartement is in a really lovely district, away from busy streets. Everything was really clean, there was a lot of natural light in the apartement. I definitely reccommend choosing this apartement for a short stay in Tallinn! :)

There is nothing I didn't like. Just that future guests know, the entrance to the apartment building is from the backyard. The building is old, and the hallway might put you off, but don't worry, the neighbourhood is quiet and the apartment is great.

Lovely, spartan space. Excellent location. The walk to Old Town allows you to experience the neighbourhood of Kalamaja which is a beautiful experience in and of itself. Excellently equipped kitched. Good hot water. All mod cons.

For me, it was not an issue but others may be surprised on arrival that the flat is located in a building still undergoing renovation. That said, there is absolutely nothing dangerous about it and the neighbourhood is very safe.
