NOBATiA Guest House

Very nice and clean accommodation. The rooms were well-maintained, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Great experience overall—we would happily come back!

Llegamos de madrugada y avisaron a una barca para que nos recogiera en el muelle del KFC y nos llevara al alojamiento (no tuvimos que pagar). La señora que nos subía el desayuno era muy amable.

Cogimos este alojamiento expresamente por la cocina y estaba hecha un desastre: armarios rotos, el horno lleno de trapos y cosas, así que no se podía usar, el congelador lleno de pan de pita (se lo llevaron al día siguiente, tras avisar) y la nevera con unas 5 botellas llenas de ¿agua? pero abiertas todas (también avisamos, pero nunca se las llevaron). Por otro lado, en el baño no conseguimos utilizar el agua caliente y en el lavamanos, teníamos que estar abriendo y cerrando la llave cada vez porque si no perdía agua. La ubicación tampoco es muy buena, ya que está alejado del muelle principal de la Isla Elefantina y, si vas con maletas, como es nuestro caso, tendrás que arrastrarlas durante 15 minutos por un camino de tierra y arena cuando dejes el alojamiento (o pagar 6-7€ para que te recojan en el muellito al lado del alojamiento, porque el dueño nos dijo que lo teníamos que pagar nosotros si lo queríamos). Además, si no te gustan los reptiles, huye del lugar, ya que teníamos al menos dos lagartijas/geckos conviviendo con nosotros (a nosotros no nos importó, pero seguro que hay mucha gente a la que le dan asco). En el fondo nos da pena porque se nota que era una familia humilde, pero creemos que el lugar no está del todo en condiciones y además fue demasiado caro en comparación con los precios de otras alternativas.

The view is fantastic. The calmest area in Aswan. Really calm and serene.

The host doesnt speak English so it is pretty hard to communicate. We also paid a lot for private transfer between the guest house to the main land just to get to the tour starting area and to get food. When we reached, we didnt know we had to arrange our own boat to get to the island. It was until 1 hour+ before the host sent us a boat. We were quite lost. You cant take the public boat to the island as the house is located behind and way back of the island. I highly recommend u schedule pick up with the guest house since you can easily get lost.

BED MATRICES IS TERABLE , BED LINEN ISNOT CLEAN AND caused sickness to my childs , also tv not working ,

The staff was very kind and flexible. Our flight was delayed, so we missed the last ferry to the island. Fortunately, the owners helped us out at no extra charge. They sent a boat to pick us up and take us directly to the guesthouse. It felt good knowing that most people would have charged extra fees.

The apartment is really big. Two bedrooms have excellent Nile views. It's a beautiful neighborhood, very quite, good air.

Egyptian citizens must be married to share the apartment.
