Apartment Mareverde Resort

I think there should be a should be a working safe in the apartment. Also the green scatter cushions on the settee need cushion covers.

The complex was great lovely pools . Bar good

Cristian very poor, bad in fact. Waiting 35 minutes outside, not knowing where we were staying. No reception no place to ask . Ask Cristian to get taxi when leaving. No taxi 8.am 2 messages, no Cristian ,no message. I would sack him , no interest in his job. He spoiled the holiday for us.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The photos accurately represent the actual accommodation.

Our apartment was Clean and comfortable and we had a great host in Gaetano. Beds comfortable and plenty of sheets and towels provided. Location was perfect for us.

Quality of sun beds by the pools was very poor. Resort has a huge problem with people putting towels on beds 7.30 am. No cleaning in the resort in general that we saw. The resort in general needs upgrading. Plaster falling off walls outside. cigarette ends lying on stairway to our apartment for the last two weeks. General cleaning n

Could be doing with an extra set of bathroom towels each and perhaps pool towels too if possible!! I’m sure if we’d have contacted Wd he’d have obliged but we just washed them.

The apartment is exactly like on the photos. Clean, comfortable in a perfect location. Both shopping center and beach just a 10 minute walk away with lots of restaurants around. Gaetano is the perfect host, welcoming and friendly. We will definitely come back again, great value for money.

Bed bugs and poor experience with host. No help with moving accommodation upon medical advise once the bugs were discovered. Originally asked for help to move to another property or a solution. Response was “unfortunately I do not have another property to offer you” Advised we will be Refunded 2 nights that we didn’t stay due to bugs as some compensation. Given total compensation which we did not agree to or accept of €362 which did not come close to covering the additional €433 we paid to move to new accommodation, cheapest and closest we could find last min on the day, nor medical expenses due to allergic reaction of the bug bits, (proof of consultation with doctors provided who advised to leave the property and offered advise on how to elimate the bug infestation. ), launderette costs of decontaminating our possessions or the fact I lost 5 days of my 10 days holiday back n forth to pharmacies and being told I must keep out of the sun with the medication I was put on. Asides from that I felt like I was burning alive and was in extreme pain for three days and no assistance to help us move. When I expressed my disappointment and said I would be leaving a reflection of my experience as a review I was then informed it would be unfair of me to leave a bad review after taking the refund that I have neither accepted or received. I was also told and I quote from a message of the host. ‘Bedbugs get into a home with other people's things; bedbugs can easily be brought on clothes if a person comes to visit. I don't blame you for anything. Before your arrival they were not in the apartment. Therefore, this is a force majeure situation. It’s not your fault, but it’s not our fault also, and even more so the owner’s, who doesn’t even live here. Bad luck! ‘ I am currently seeking legal advice as I believe I have evidence of bed bug existence from before our arrival through staining of the sheets. I originally asked for a refund but this was instantly refused.

Good location - only 10 minute walk to the beach, plenty of pools in the complex so everyone was well spread out and no over crowding. Bar next to pool so not far to go for a drink, shuts at 8pm so no noise at night

Could of done with some more toilet roll but wasn't a major issue
