LC Bastian Marina Bungalow

The location was perfect, right beside a lovely little restaurant and an added bonus was the heated pool. The bungalow had everything to make the stay comfortable and we were delighted with our choice.

Only very small things like maybe instructions on how to use the hob, and the main shower had a tendency to leak over onto the floor which required a towel to be placed on the floor to absorb the overflow. Nothing that couldn't be managed.

*1/5 Stars - Unacceptable Living Conditions* My recent stay at this rental apartment was a disaster. The bedroom ceiling was severely damp, making it uninhabitable. I had to sleep on the couch, which was not a comfortable or sustainable solution. The shower leaked badly, and to make matters worse, most of the sockets in the house were loose and not fitted properly, posing a significant safety risk. *Lack of Essential Information* To add to the frustration, there were no clear instructions provided on how to get to the property, which made finding the place more difficult than it needed to be. Furthermore, there were no clear guidelines on where to dispose of rubbish, including the location of bins. This lack of basic information added to the overall stress of staying in a poorly maintained property. *Poor Response from Property Management* When I contacted the property management about the issues, their response was disappointing. They claimed to be "speechless" about the dampness issue, which seemed like a strange reaction given the severity of the problem. After digging deeper, I discovered that this issue has been ongoing since 2022, with multiple reviewers mentioning it. It's clear that the property management has been aware of the problem for some time and has failed to address it adequately. *Inadequate Solution* The property management offered to refund my money without providing any alternative accommodation. This solution was woefully inadequate, considering the inconvenience and distress caused by the apartment's poor condition. No offer of compensation or apology was made, which would have gone some way in mitigating the situation. *Avoid This Property* Unless you're looking for a stressful and potentially hazardous experience, I would strongly advise against renting this property. The property management's response to the issues was unprofessional, and their lack of effort to resolve the problems was disappointing.

Nice apartment in close proximity to the communal pool and the sea/beach. Shops and restaurants close by and a short walk along the promenade to the main area with plenty more shops and restaurants. Hosts were very quick to respond to queries.

Tip: allow time between people showering for water to reheat. Water tank seemed enough for 2 showering but was then a chillier shower

Beautifully presented accommodation, modern and very clean. Very close to the resort pool and bar/restaurant. It is a very quiet area - despite the proximity to the pool bar - it closes at 21.30 so no problems there.

Pity about the deaf neighbours....loud TV, but at least they were asleep early!

Beautiful property, ideally situated within a 10 minute walk into the centre of Costa Teguise. So close to the sea, so close to the pool, so so close to Los Amigos. We read a few comments about some people not enjoying being overlooked by people sitting in Los Amigos and can very slightly see their point, but look at it the other way, you only have to make a couple of steps and you are there yourself. Also, the food was so good in Los Amigos I can guarantee nobody is looking at you. Given a choice of all of the other properties, I would say those around the pool area would be my preference. Decor wise, the property is beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. We will definitely be looking for this property for future trips to Costa Teguise.

It is perfectly situated adjacent to the Los Amigos bar and restaurant and also the pool area. Facility was clean, facilities excellent.

Nothing really, some small wear and tear items will need to be done at some point.
