Lacatorce Apartment

We greatly appreciated the host who was very accommodating, allowing us a late checkout as our flight was late in the evening and we were traveling with a baby. It was very very helpful. The apartment had a nice boho design like on the photos

The apartment could use refreshing as it’s wearing off. Wooden parts in the bathroom, like towel hangers, were getting rotten and there was mold in the shower. The decorative shutters are difficult to clean so they were very dusty while the ones hanging above the bed made it very uncomfortable to sit with your back rested against the wall. Some pillows would help. Bathroom cosmetics looked like really old leftovers from different guests - wasn’t useful - rather messy and repelling and should be removed. Kitchen equipment was rather old. Plates, glass, cutlery wasn’t looking very clean. We always clean them before use in airbnbs but still you would expect them to look clean to start with. Very difficult to park in the area.

My friends and I loved how clean the apartment was and it was equipped with everything we needed for our stay . Host was super friendly and was there at reach if we had any enquires and issues. Good location to beach and supermarket

The terrace was really nice. Sun hit there almost whole Day.

The apartment felt dated. The pictures didn't lie, but it needs a bit updating. There were mold in the shower. Bed was very uncomfortable and the blanket were dirty. In kitchen there were not so clean dishes. We also saw many ants on the kitchen counter top. Whole apartment were very cold but it had been raining for a week before we came there so it might affect.

Nice terrace. Bathroom was nice and clean. The host was very helpful.

The pot and aspecially the frying pan were very old and worn out. The gas stove didn´t work perfectly. The part of the bulbs were broken. The kitchen needs updating e.g the cabinets and stove were worn out. It was so humid in the living room that part of the paint surface fell to the floor. The bed needs updating. The pictures of the apartment didn´t exactly correspond to reality (e.g the windows had protective films so you couldn´t see out).

The host, Francisco, was very friendly and always available. The terrace was lovely and with a view to the garden from which you could see the Mediterranean Sea.The area is located in the "authentic" part of Benalmadena, with a short walking distance to the more touristic center of the city. 10-15 minutes in a leisurely walk to the beach and the Mediterranean.

We stayed in the apartment almost for one month. The apartment was cozy with nice interior details and spacious enough for 2 people. We especially adored the big terrace - perfect to work, chill, or catch some sunlight during the daytime (as the terrace was facing the sun). The location was perfect as well, nice residential area. Also, very easy to reach the airport by train or taxi, or to go to Malaga by train (the ride takes 20min). Seaside or cafeterias are also a short walk away. The Internet was perfect (important for remote workers :)). We had several issues with water, but the host Fransisco was very friendly and cooperative, thus everything was solved quickly.

The apartment is spacious and sunny. There are nice design features. The backyard was a blessing

It’s not as nice as the pictures lead you to believe. It’s fine, just don’t expect anything extraordinary
