Giralda Sevilla Apartment

Location was superb. Right in front of the cathedral. Lots of restaurants close by. There was also an elevator which was good. Wifi was also decent.

Check in experience was very painful. Contactless check in did not work. And we began to panic. We almost decided to book in another hotel but fortunately we were able to get in touch via phone, and we told a secret location for the physical keys which we used. Couch was torn. Bedroom was very very tiny and very tight. Bathroom shower was not good.

Location was AMAZING, pool area very nice, nice and festive area..

The cleaning was not the best, but it didn't matter too much, we were out and about most of the time..

Good location, central to all tourist sites.

The best thing about this apartment – it’s location – was also it’s worst thing. Located very near the Cathedral, all the touristy things are easily within walking distance. But the apartment is located on a busy junction above a number of bars, and even being on the top floor doesn’t block out the relentless noise of buskers, bar staff, bars bringing down incredibly squeaky shutters at 2am, and the incredible noise of the bins being emptied. Most nights we got very little sleep. The rooftop pool is lovely, though you need to be aware of all the broken floorboards and loose nails of the floor. Our stay wasn’t helped by arriving to find that the apartment hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests. Having to vacate the place for an hour while the cleaners turned up isn’t what you want after travelling for 8 hours and not being able to even have a shower. Other things that would have improved our stay are, having: a kettle and toaster; more than one pillow per person; more than one bin bag for the week; information on where and when to put the bin bags out when they’re full.

Location was really good! Although it was really hot during our stay, it really helped that we could walk everywhere, with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is a nice size, and swimming pool, although small, is a really nice touch and provided much needed escape from the heat!
