The apartment has a basic setup overall. The kitchen was reasonably equipped and served its purpose, but don’t expect anything beyond the essentials.

More seriously, our stay was heavily disrupted by loud parties on two consecutive nights in the apartment above, also managed by the same host. Noise continued past 5:00 AM, with shouting, stomping, and furniture being dragged. This violated the apartment’s own house rules—no parties allowed, quiet hours from 00:00 to 08:00—and also goes against local Alicante regulations, which strictly prohibit such disturbances. To add, the person who handed us the keys didn’t speak English, leading to confusion at check-in. The sofa cover was disgustingly dirty, and the bathroom had visible mold, indicating urgent maintenance is needed—possibly due to careless treatment by previous guests.

However, our experience was negatively impacted by several serious issues. We were unable to sleep for two consecutive nights due to extremely loud parties in the apartment directly above (also owned by the same host). There was shouting, music, and dragging of furniture until after 5:00 AM. We reported the issue after the first night, but no action was taken and the noise continued. This makes the property unsuitable for guests needing quiet, rest, or traveling for medical purposes. There was also a strong language barrier when receiving the keys, as the person handing over the apartment did not speak English, leading to confusion at check-in. In addition, there is visible mold in the bathroom, and overall maintenance is urgently needed. The condition suggests the property has suffered from ongoing neglect or poor treatment by previous guests.

I really liked the location of the apartment, as well as the availability of both an air conditioner and a fan. The apartment was clean, and there were dishes available, so it was possible to cook on my own. The hosts also provided two tablets for the dishwasher and the washing machine, which was very convenient.

What I didn’t like was that the neighbors often talked and laughed loudly late into the night. Due to the lack of soundproofing, everything could be heard clearly. However, the neighborhood itself is quiet — I just happened to have unlucky neighbors right across the street. Regarding cleanliness, there was a cockroach in the sink. Maybe this is common in Spain, but it was a bit unsettling.

Quite comfortable

Firstly its a studio not an apartment...Location was small side street...mostly quiet but sometimes noisy people and scooters. Smell of dog poo and wee in all streets around is disappointing Bathroom is small, damp with no extractor. No where to put things. Mold near shower tray where tiles finish and plaster starts Main room is ok but again no where to put things, windows are single glazed and don't seal properly. View is to street and looks directly at other apartments...not pretty. It was cool in the evenings and mornings and only heating is via the a/c unit Kitchen units are newish and ok. Ulencils provided are basic and few...not enough for an extended stary such as ours. Bed reasonably comfortable

The place was cosy and clean. The kitchen had bare basics and could be a little more visitor "friendly". But overall a good place to be!
