The location of the apartment is fantastic — right in the heart of Madrid, close to everything! The building felt safe, and the apartment itself was clean and comfortable. However, communication with the host could have been better. I had sent a message asking when I would receive the check-in instructions, and I only got a reply about 30 minutes before the scheduled check-in time, which caused some unnecessary stress. Also, the apartment is on the fourth floor of a building with no elevator, so you need to climb 85 steps — something to keep in mind if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues. The provided supplies were quite minimal (only two rolls of toilet paper, two coffee capsules, and a few tea bags) for a one-week stay. Overall, it’s a nice apartment in a great location, but there’s definitely room for improvement in communication and amenities.
