Casa-Mirador La Alhacena

Appartement très charmant, très bien placé. Nous avons adoré y séjourner et contempler l’Alhambra sur la terrasse 🤩. Hôtes très gentils.

Un petit point d’amélioration possible : la literie du rez-de-chaussée pourrait peut-être gagner en confort.

The hosts/contacts, were friendly, caring and professional. Very helpful and quick to answer questions. Views were great from the property. It was cool inside, even on the hotest day. Cottage is full of character and in a lovely area. Ideal for a solo traveller/couple.

Difficult to get transport near to the cottage to drop off luggage, as streets are narrow. A number of steps to reach the property with luggage. No magical answer, but once at the cottage it was worth it.

Great location. Close to everything in the old town. Can walk everywhere. Loved the rooftop patio, with the views of the Alhambra.

It would be helpful to know where to take garbage and recycling. A map with nearby facilities would help.

La ubicación

Wonderful experience staying in the Albaicín. Peaceful location away from the tourist crowds. The house had great character and a homely feel, with a lovely outlook toward the Alhambra that rivalled the best viewpoints but all to ourselves. Communication was smooth and the introduction on arrival was very helpful.

The final walk to the accom might be challenging with heavy bags. The bed was smaller and firmer than we prefer, and the shower was on the small side.

Everything was great! We’ve been to Granada many times but thanks to staying in Albaicin we have discovered completely different city. The house is very well equipped, there is everything you need, even coffee and tee. Nadia and her daughter were very welcoming and helpful. We felt like at home. And the toproof terrace is the best! For morning coffee or evening glass of wine. I also think there is no better place to read „Tales of the Alhambra”!! Thank you for everything, I will recommend your place to my friends wanting to stay in Granada who wants to feel the atmosphere of old Albaicin.

Las vistas. La ubicación

L'emplacement est incroyable ! La vue sur l'Alhambra depuis la fenêtre du 1er ou le balcon du 2e est juste impressionnante, nous nous sentons chanceux ! L'accueil était impeccable et chaleureux. Nous avons aimé pouvoir faire notre lessive ainsi que faire à manger avec tout le nécessaire de base (huile, vinaigre, épices...). Nous avons bien aimé n'être qu'à quelques pas des endroits et quartiers d'intérêt !

L'accessibilité de l'appartement était extrêmement compliquée. Nous aurions aimé des recommandations d'itinéraire pour avoir à prendre le moins d'escalier possible avec les bagages à roulettes très lourds et ne pas avoir à passer par cette rue touristique extrêmement bondée. Le bruit depuis la rue en weekend était compliqué pour dormir comme partout dans ce quartier vivant, il faut penser à prendre des bouchons d'oreilles.
