I’m extremely disappointed with how Booking.com handled our reservation. The hotel Colina del Paraíso did everything right — but Booking.com failed at every step. 1. Zero notification about an IMPORTANT message Booking.com never notified me that there was a message requiring payment to confirm the booking. Not a single alert. Yet months earlier, the system did notify me about a trivial message asking how many people were coming. So clearly the system works — Booking.com just didn’t bother to notify me about the message that actually mattered. If the hotel hadn’t called me directly (a call that at first looked like a scam because Booking.com told me nothing), we could have lost the reservation entirely. 2. The booking details were WRONG We booked for two people and specifically chose a place with a hot tub. That was the whole point. But when we arrived, it wasn’t booked that way. The hotel showed us what THEY received — and it didn’t match what Booking.com showed us. Your platform made it impossible to see what we actually booked. I had to rely on the hotel and even my wife’s account to understand what was going on. 3. The hotel had to apologise for Booking.com’s mistakes The hotel kindly offered us an alternative and even reduced the price by €120. They were helpful, professional, and apologised on Booking.com’s behalf — even though none of this was their fault. We ended up staying in the original apartment because moving would have been a downgrade after already settling in. But we had to sacrifice the hot tub we believed we had booked. In summary: The hotel was excellent. Booking.com caused stress, confusion, and unnecessary hassle. Your notification system and booking transparency need serious improvement.. About the hotel: The apartment had everything we needed to feel at home, though more restaurant options and the pool bar being open (even in late May) would have made the stay even better.

Kids playground and football area needs work/repair. Football area had no goals and surface was badly worn in parts

Große Wohnung, gut ausgestattet. Leider nicht alles vollzählig.

Lage ist gut oberhalb des Ortes. Fahrzeug ist Voraussetzung.
