La ubicación y departamento en general están bien

Pésima atención, nos dieron dos juegos de llaves. Salimos con uno y cuando regresamos no abría la puerta. Nos comunicamos para que vengan a abrir y me pidieron foto y video mostrando que la puerta no abría. Pasaron dos horas y media y seguían insistiendo que nosotros no sabíamos abrir una puerta. Después de casi tres horas y de dos videos mostrando q la llave no abría conseguimos q nos vengan a abrir. Cero recomendables

Our flight was scheduled to arrive early and ended up being delayed. The hosts were flexible and communicative, and met us at the apartment a bit prior to check in time to let us drop off our bags and give us the keys. We still needed to kill some time while the clean up crew finished getting the apartment ready, but it was SO NICE to be able to leave our big things and go out into the city for a meal without lugging bags around. The apartment has an incredible location. We went in early August, and my understanding is that Madrileños take their own vacations then. Moncloa was pretty quiet, which I was told isn't as much the case when the university is in session. The apartment is directly above a tavern (that serves great tapas!), but we never felt that the noise got out of hand, particularly with the metal blinds lowered. We were able to access the city and surrounding areas with incredible ease from the Moncloa metro station. There is also a Dia market directly across the street, and a nice shopping area a few blocks away (Zara, Decathlon, Corte Ingles, local shops). You have quick access to Spanish restaurants, Lebanese ice cream, a couple of Turkish spots, KFC, McDonald's, Taco Bell, ramen, Chinese....I could go on! The area felt very safe and ideal for families. The AC was great, as well, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Beds were comfy, towels were big, and the washer was a huge plus for us!

Truly, everything was great! I was always a bit worried the TV was going to fall off of the tiny stand it was on. That's my only "area of suggestion": Put the TV on a bigger table. :)

Apartment was clean and had nice amenities. Location is centrally located, but it can get loud at night with several bars and restaurants below it.

Management was very easy to work with and accommodated our need to drop off our luggage early - really appreciated that! Apartment is clean, updated, close to transportation, restaurants, etc. Neighborhood felt very safe.

The living room furniture could be more comfortable - not much cushioning.

It was all very nice, friendly staff, very well organised apartment.

Information about no late checkin option was given only after booking. I did not need it luckily, but it would have been stressful if I did need to arrive late. There were also too many reminders about need to contact host before the arrival in parallel from email and phone channels.
