Brilliant location

Location was excellent. Apartment itself was lovely. We had an issue with the internet initially but the host was very quick to respond and issue was rectified.

Not big issues, but could have done with a couple more towels, bin bags and dishwasher tabs (2 of each for a 4 night stay) and no tea towels so washing up by hand with no draining board meant we couldn’t dry things easily.

Wonderful apartment in a very convenient location. Both bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with dishware, etc. There are restaurants, markets, cafes very close to the apartment and it is walking distance to Old Town. It was a little noisy as we could hear all the activity on the street, but that is to be expected given its central location. We had a problem accessing the WiFi initially, but that was resolved quickly with a phone call. We also had a problem with a non-draining shower, but Domo had a plumber come to fix the problem the next day. We appreciated the quick response to both issues.

We followed the instructions that were sent in order to enter the building, but the first step did not work. We were lucky that someone else was entering the building so that we could get in. After we reached the door to the apartment there was no problem. Unfortunately parking seems to be scarce in the area and we did have to pay about 30 Euros per day to park in a nearby public garage. That added a little to the overall cost.

The room was clean.

Wi-Fi was not available. There was no air conditioning. The staff response was very slow. No amenities provided. The noise is terrible.

Space, cleaneness, walking distance to train and everything

Great location. Comfortable bed. Nice balcony.

The apartment is much darker and smaller than it looks in the photographs. If four people stayed (the number it can accommodate in bedspace), it would be rather cramped (not enough seating in the living space, for example). Side/Soft lighting would offer greater comfort in the living space. It was poorly equipped. I assume that most people are in San Sebastian for a short break and so do not really want to have to buy basics, or, for example, tea towels/washing up brushes. There was neither tea towel, washing up sponge, or even a complimentary dishwasher tablet or two. No tea, coffee or sugar, nor salt, pepper, or olive oil. It is common these days for holiday properties to provide them and I think for this type of property let these would be welcome.
