Location good, condition terrible, view great.

We were VERY DISSAPPOINTED with this rental. Tried to contact property manager over a dozen times - never called. They did send a message via Booking claiming nothing wrong (without coming): Hot water in both showers ran from good and warm to COLD every two minutes (hot water unit needs repair/replace) Shower door leaks heavily (missing gasket) Showerhead broken ($15 item), mirror light not working, Exterior shutter/shade in one bedroom wouldn't go up so no view; window in Living room broken, wouldn't open, TV never worked, Mold on windowsill, numerous other minor problems never addressed. Website says there is private parking: message says no, you have to pay, but it was never offered. Tried to call and emailed Booking as well - no response. NOT RECOMMENDED

The view from the flat is stunning and almost makes up for this very poorly equipped property.

Shower temperature is inconsistent. There were light bulbs missing, minimal crockery and cutlery some of which was stained and cracked. a cloth and a bin bag by way of a welcome pack - and just one dishwasher tablet which sums up the lack of hospitality. It is inconvenient to have to collect the key half a mile away and to have to negotiate and send photos of the bulbs over a two day period to get two light bulbs so we could have bedside light - albeit the lamp base was broken.

Dirty bathtub, towel racks etc. Need better cleaning for an apartment this price. Shower very weak. The fact one needs to go grab keys on the other end of town

The location is amazing. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are a plus. Having a washer on-site is another great feature. A key vending machine was interesting, too bad it wasn't on the property. The large TV was great on a rainy afternoon. The sunset from the living room window was wonderful!

To get the keys from a different location far from the apartment is a huge negative. The curtains in each bedroom were shabby and water-stained. The bed in the main bedroom has a deep pocket which I got stuck in and had to wake up to roll over. Hot water in the showers was either full hot or full cold, there was no in-between. The shower in the main bedroom did not have enough pressure to wash my hair. The kitchen could use updating, as the built-in microwave did not work, so the owners placed a small one on the counter. Parts of the back counter were missing. The dishes were a mishmash and there was no saucepan. The furniture overall could use an update. There were cigarette burns on one kitchen table chair, and the rug in the living room was worn. I was given incorrect instructions via email on how to access Wifi. I had to find the "house rule book" for the correct information. The instructions on how to turn on the water heater/boiler instructions were not clear.

The views were stunning. Pictures don't do them justice. We loved opening the windows and listening to the ocean. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The beds were very comfortable and the size of the apartment made for comfortable accommodations.

Both showers would not maintain hot water—ice cold, then hot, then cold. The handle holder was broken upon arrival in one of the showers, requiring hand-held shower use. The light switches and outlets, as were the walls and ceiling in one of the bedrooms, were dirty. We cleaned the light switches upon arrival. Parking is a gamble. We could find street parking daily; however, I would have concerns during peak times.

The apartment was exactly as described, bright and airy and had fantastic views of the bay. Easy walking to San Sebastian centre and old town. Local supermarkets were close by and very helpful.

The instructions for key collection were comprehensive, be aware that it's a 15-minute walk from the appt. If I had read them earlier I would have had got the taxi to drop me there.

Wonderful location & view.

Check in on a Sunday was difficult.
