Good location

1. It was very difficult to find the place. A little shady when you enter the place. 2. There’s no staff. 3. Not very cool that to enter the building you need a code in your phone, we didn’t have wifi, and it was very complicated to enter. Also, if by any chance you don’t have battery, how do we enter the building? 4. Not much space. 5. Not good facilities, not even water 6. The bathroom smelled a bit bad.

The customer service was brilliant, always responsive and ready to help! Great location, very central and well connected to line 1 and 2 subway!

I don't understand all the positive reviews here. The host (Emi) caused our stay be very negative and ruined our trip. We were so excited about this trip after saving money and planning for so long, but then we ended up being sad and angry the entire time because of so many problems caused by a host who lied and didn't care about us.... The heater did not work, AND neither did the stove, or the coffee maker, or the electric kettle. We couldn't believe that so many things were broken. WTH?! We stayed 5 nights in December. It was 3 degrees C outside and 13 degrees C inside the apartment! We were freezing and had to wear big jackets inside the apartment just to keep warm. We immediately informed the host that all these things were broken, and we sent photos as proof. She insisted they were working fine, but she would send someone the next day to check. The next day everything was still broken! We sent her another message. She again insisted everything was working. But still it was not! She said she would send someone this time. But she lied again and did not send anyone. Every day we believed her that she would finally fix the issues. But she never did. It was unbelievable!! We specifically booked a place with a kitchen (which costs more than with no kitchen) so we could cook in the room and save money on meals during the trip. So not only did we pay a higher price to book a place with a kitchen and a heater that we did not get (broken), but then we also lost more money because we had to eat meals and coffees out. This got expensive and caused us to go over budget. Emi is a horrible host and is dishonest, and she cost us a lot of headache, frustration, sadness and money. I have filed a formal complaint with Booking.

Great location, right in the center of Madrid and with a lot of transportations, restaurants and other points of interest near. Perfect for a couple, but it also has a second bed for 2 more people. It has everything you need. If we go back to Madrid, we'll definitely try to stay here again.
