Apartamentos La Concepción

The apartment is situated in the historic centre of La Laguna, meaning it is close to many restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and historical sites. The apartment is somewhat spacious. Two highlights would be the washing machine and balcony. There is also a large fridge-freezer available and a television. The owner provided a blanket and thin quilt, as I stayed in January. This was very useful (although I was still a bit cold). The property manager was really friendly and helpful. He came to find me and guided me to the apartment (as I got a little lost). He was on-site most days, so was often available to help. Overall, this apartment is good value for money, but not without faults (as to be expected for the price).

Although the apartment contained three beds, it was not suitable for a group of 3. There were only 2 chairs at the dining table and there was no storage space for suitcases/clothes/any other belongings. While there is a kitchen, it was not easy to cook a meal, as there wasn't much crocery. I ate my dinner out of a small pan most nights. For example, there was only one bowl, two plates, and no drinking glasses. Some mould could be found near the bathroom (although not much). This could easily be fixed. I also didn't think the apartment was particularly clean. I found a lot of long dark hairs in the property on my arrival and couldn't sweep them up, as there wasn't a broom.

Very nice host. Super friendly and easy to work with. We arranged to arrive a little earlier than normal check in but the unit wasn't ready. He showed us inside, allowed us to leave our bags and regroup for a half hour. Then we left for a hike and he came in and finished cleaning. When we came back the place was all ready for us and we already had our keys so we didn't have to worry about checking in when we were tired and hungry. Cute space with a nice small rooftop deck. Great location just a block from the pedestrian area and close to bus stops. Quiet at night. Quite adequate for less than 50€ a night.

Water sprayed out of the shower. It really needs doors and the curtain was too long and in the way so it was touching me while I showered. Mismatched kitchen items like a pot with no lid, no skillet, one regular sized drinking glass. All mismatching blankets kind of made me think the owner had discarded his own used items into this apartment, although everything was clean.

the host. Extremely poor and unfriendly communication . The guy who met at the property did not speak english. He tried his best to explain but at the end it was more annoying than helpful. It was not his fault , unfortunately host did not put efforts to make our checkin smooth. Rude communication. Host was obviously translating from spanish in translator to answer our messages but the context was clearly rude . We got a piece of paper with poor handwriting with wifi credentials which did not work at all. When I said the host writing was not clear I got back : password is correct. Choose network and put password. Seriously? Is that a way to answer your guest? I need to beg you to type password in message. hosts communication made our experience unpleasant

The location close to historic centre, basic features and kitchen appliances and some food supplies available. Heater was available in the room. Wifi worked well.

Its an old, building, and the apartment is also a kind of work. Very bad smell in bathroom, tried to use it as little as possible. Some things we just took with a smile, but they could be really annoying during a longer stay (like - both pillows are put in one, long pillowcase). Parking on the street is almost impossible, you should be very lucky. But this nothing the apartment could impact on. We used the paid parking down the street, but it seems that there not enough sports for everyone in the evening.

Comfortable apartment, well equipped. Great location just a couple of minutes walk from the shops, bars, restaurants.

The location was good, it was really central.

The humidity was so strong that it was difficult to breath and I needed to leave the windows open the whole day. even the toilet paper was wet just out of the humidity there. I tried to stay outside as much as possible of the place. was really expensive for how the place was
