Casa Real

It was across the road from the beautiful MY hotel where we could go to cool down and escape from the horror of our revolting apartment . The only nice thing about this apartment is the front door to get out !!

The renovations upstairs . Drilling into the wall from 8 am to 5 pm. No air conditioning no fan until I complained and then Pedro came with 2 cheap hopeless fans. Shower drain blocked for 5 days . Plumber came but too blocked to fix . Interior design absolutely dreadful. 2 cheap couches almost touching the floor . Too low to sit on . Curtains on windows where thin and flimsy in 34 degree heat so bedrooms hot and sticky all the time.Massive cockroaches everywhere. Polyester bed linen . No money spent on the place in 50 yrs. Absolutely disgraceful landlord whoever you are . Place should be condemned.

The location, the space

No air conditioning, although you could get a throughput of air if windows and doors are left open.,It weather / wind is present. The shower flooded the bathroom if used on full due to blocked drain and insufficient fall in shower tray design. Fitting and furniture a bit dated, grill difficult to work out, could not work out how to operate! Low cost of property probably made up for the above issues.

quite run down. we stepped inside and it was a musty damp smell. lights in bathroom didn’t work, kettle had scaling flakes floating around, bed needs to be thrown….

Amazing Apartment with nice kitchen. Everything we needed was there! Really simple interior and lots of space. The garden is breathtaking. Super location, near the beach and restaurants+bars. We also drove to station Las Coloradas and then went to Papagayo beach by foot. Check in easy via Pin Code and keys. Playa Blanca is really beautiful and we would absolutely recommend staying at Casa Real. Thank you for everything!

Sometimes you hear music from another hotel nearby but it‘s totally acceptable

Location.

Water pressure. It was hard to get a shower and wash my long hair.

The complex was very attractive. The walk to the beach was about 15 minutes. There was a supermarket at the corner of the road.

We arrived early and the cleaners were still there and a phone call got us permission to stay. We found that the sheets on the bed and the sofa's cover were still damp. There was almost no bedding but this was provided following a phone call. The house had no heating or cooling and the outside temperature was 19c. The house itself felt even colder. This is an apartment but basic items such as a pot-scourer and pepper were absent. The hob worked but the oven did not. I sent a text to report this but there was no reply.

Met our expectations at a decent price, quiet safe location short walk to the beach
