Apartamento La Buena Guarda

Front door very difficult to open. I could r have managed without my son.

The apartment is on the ground floor of a historic building which is probably built in the 17th century. It's very tastefully renovated. It is in the middle of the old town, and the metro station is just a short walk. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. There was a beautiful fresh bouquet of flowers when we arrived.

The kitchen knives could use some sharpening :)

The property feels very homey, and the owner has a restaurant right across the street. This means you are very well taken care of. The location is amazing - just a street away from where all the events take place. Grocery store a block away is a plus.

As a general rule in Spain, time your showers with your group appropriately as the water heater needs time to reload. Also, know how the keys work!

Just located in the central of Madrid. Can reach all the places I want to visit by walk. Very convenient. Also very quite, need not worry about noise outside. The landlord is very nice and allow us kept our luggage in their cafe. The food in the cafe is very delicious.

Great location to access major attractions in city on foot. Comfortable and met all our needs.

The different levels with steps are a little hazardous at night but just a feature of age of building

Its central location, close to many shops and eateries as well as famous sights. The owner met us in person and was very welcoming, offering advice about places to visit. He has a cafe a few yards away which serves amazing food! The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. The kitchen facilities are adequate for a short stay and the seating area is very cosy. We would not hesitate to return.

Very central, safe area and ‘naceo was at his cafe on the same street with regard to any issues-there were none.
