Four Seasons - Playa del Cura

The view is fantastic every day to wake up to, the location is wonderful. We were there for 4 weeks, Julia is a wonderful host too. Extremely responsive when needed. One of our favourite locations in Gran Canaria, our second time here, loved it just as much

The view. This is an apartment, no staff. It is probably the best location and best building to be on the island. Nice pool, a little bit small, but the heated water is excellent in the winter months.

Perfect location with a gorgeous sea view. We hope to stay there again some day.

the only positive thing: the view on the ocean.

the apartment was disgustingly dirty and smelly, the apartment was not cleaned, there was a lot of hair on the floor, there was dust under the bed and sofa, it smelled to the core and gave the impression of a bed that had not been freshly made. the smell of urine was common in the bedroom. the toilet was black at the bottom, the shower was disgustingly dirty, and on top of all this, there were giant cockroaches. after all this dirt, I'm not surprised at all.

Our children loved the warm outdoor swimming pool. The sea view was magnificent. The kitchen was fully equipped.

nice view from the terrace, safe parking inside yard, comfortable place, all needed electric appliances (kitchen, washing machine) in good condition, all you need is there. Very cosy staff, all clear communication (we had late check-in and very early check-out - all went smoothly). Many nice golf courses around.

Laundry rack in the terrace is broken, so needed to be creative to use it (in our case we propped it with a broom:)). Depending on wind direction, sometimes bad smell (from broke sewerage tubes?) comes - but seems it is a problem for all island, as in many towns around we noticed that smell. We killed two big cockroaches in kitchen in first two days (luckily my wife did not saw them :)) - since then we close terrace doors during the nights and didn't left food on table - no more came :). This also most probably common problem in area, as during the dark time you can see some of these big bugs in the streets.

Easy check in process, generally well equipped apartment. Both the apartment and pool area were clean.

Shower floods the room easily, existing damage to the door. Only about 50% of the light bulbs worked. The area surrounding the hotel is one of the many horrendous tourist traps in southern gran Canaria. Very little local people just blocks od tourist hotels.

The apartment has everything you need. Very comfy double bed with good mattress ; important for my husband who has a back condition . The view from the balcony is stunning. The pool is terrific and we often had it to ourselves or with 1 or 2 other people. Martin took us back to the airport at a much cheaper rate than the taxi service

The property is at the top of quite a steep hill which was OK for us but would present issues for older people or people with health or mobility issues
