The view from the balcony is the best part

Nothing, everything was perfect

Obviously, this is the ideal place to stay in Puerto de la Cruz. Right where the eternal mint-water wave crashes into white foam on the base of Calle San Telmo. An unforgettable spectacle just a stone's throw from the famous Charco Square. And for our ladies, endless shops all along this magical Rambla.

But not everything is idyllic. Even though the apartment is magnificent with its bay window, access via a narrow staircase without an elevator is a strain on the back. The interior design, dating from the 70s and 80s, has been minimally refurbished by an investment company primarily looking for returns. It's clear that this is far from the simple owner looking to improve his property. The huge bathtub in one of the two bathrooms is nonsense in a region lacking water. The dining room chairs are out of order, the bed mattresses, even though they are new, are uncomfortable, the paper filter coffee maker is in its final stages of wear, the Nespresso capsule machine is missing, and the smells from the laundry room are unbearable. Despite all this, it's a good choice for spending a few days in the historic city center. It's a shame they don't improve this beautiful apartment.

1. **Breathtaking Views:** The view from the bedroom and lounge is truly mesmerizing, with crashing waves against the rocks creating a serene ambiance. 2. **Central Location:** Conveniently located in Puerto de la Cruz, close to excellent restaurants and amenities for easy exploration. 3. **Spacious Accommodation:** The large bedrooms and living space provided ample room to relax and unwind. 4. **Reasonable Pricing:** The property offered good value for its size and location.

1. **Basic Beds:** The beds were very basic and uncomfortable, detracting from the overall comfort of the stay. 2. **Construction Noise:** Building work was ongoing during the visit, with early morning construction noise starting at 7 am. It would have been helpful if the landlord had mentioned this possibility upfront. 3. **Unpleasant Odor:** An odd smell persisted in and around the apartment, possibly related to sewage rather than fresh sea air, though one eventually acclimated to it. 4. **Lack of Privacy:** One bedroom door was made of glass, compromising privacy as passersby could see inside. Immediate change is recommended. 5. **Poor Bathroom Design:** The bathroom with a bathtub had a design flaw for taller individuals, as using the toilet while sitting down was uncomfortable for someone of 5'9" height.

The balcony, the view and the sound of the crashing ocean surf is spectacular. This is a spacious apartment with 2 bathrooms. We loved the location. Parking was not so bad once we located the free open lot to the left past the paid parking lot(parking Plaza Europa) which is temporarily closed.

The shower drain was clogged and hopefully cleared now. There was only one beach towel. The main bathroom has an enormous tub that takes up most of the room. It really should be removed and updated with a shower. The biggest concern that we had was the lock/key system. You MUST have the key to exit both the cage door up the stairs and the outside door. There was one situation where a guest was leaving and was locked in. She had to rattle the cage so that my daughter heard the commotion and was able to let her out. She needed to get to the airport. If you leave the key in the apartment on departure but don't realize that you need it to leave the building, you can be in trouble. Coming from Canada, that would be so illegal to not be able to exit a building without a key. There is no fire escape-no other way out. I hope that will be corrected. It's very dangerous.

Excellent location. Large and well decorated accommodation apart from bathrooms. These were dated and at the start of our trip there was no water pressure. This was remedied in part, but we’re still not really in keeping with the quality of the rest of the apartment.

Bathrooms as stated above. We also booked the private parking. This was in a very dirty and difficult to access separate underground parking garage. Difficult to find, and once located, my small hire car grounded every time I accessed via the very steep ramp. There were no markings to identify the actual parking place.

The location was very good, and a view was Amazing There was everything you needed at the house

I love the size of the rooms 2 toilets and a shower and bath is very convenient with big family
