The location is perfect for visiting the sights of the old town, the central market and hundreds of restaurants and bars. Also, the apartment is quiet despite its location in the centre. Additionally, the kitchen is very well equipped, the double bed in the bedroom is comfortable, the bed linen and the towels were really clean and fresh.

It is a lot darker and more worn than the pictures show. It would need more and brighter lights. There are no lights over the kitchen work top and the kitchen island, which is very disturbing. Also, the toilet and the bedroom stink of the drains to a varying extenct. I fixed the wash basin pipe in the toilet, but the tub and the bedroom washbasin pipes still need fixing to prevent the stink coming back to the apartmemt. In addition, the apartment would badly need redecorating, and the sofa cover in the living room is filthy. Washing the latter doesn’t cost anything, it just needs a little care ;-). Finally, the check-in time is too late ( 3 pm), and the apartment was not ready by 3.30, the cleaning lady was still there when we arrived.

The location is perfect. The flat is very special, well designed and arranged. There's everything you need, incl very good kitchen and cooking equipment. The view from the balcony is great, perfect to have coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Another very important positive thing is the host. Here you meet the host, and the host is very friendly. This makes a big difference in a city like Valencia, where it's a common practice that you don't meet the host and you get the keys in a safe and later you deal with an agency for the deposit.

The bathroom is en-suite and there's a bath, which used to be a jacuzzi. Fancy and modern idea but it's not very practical during the season when the weather is still a bit cool and it remains damp in the room. Of course it's easy to ventilate because the windows are big but yet the smell from the drainage remains. This could be improved.
