The apartment location in Santa Cruz is accessible to a lot of eateries and stores

We have stayed in many apartments through booking.com and this apartment is the FIRST that did not meet our expectations. First off, the apartment is an older property because Sevilla is the 2nd oldest city. While the facades maybe retained the interiors certainly need to be refurbished given the price per night that we were paying for 3 nights(close to 1000 CAD dollars). Secondly, there was a hole in the bathroom ceiling which had a drip, the shower sliding doors would not slide easily, and the water pooled near the drain when taking a shower. Also there was a stench of sewage and we had to inform the Host/s. The Hosts were surprised that these issues were not brought to their attention by previous guests(Sorry, if you are renting this place then it is the owner's responsibility to ensure basic things are met). While they had a plumber come in and repair the ceiling hole and fix the shower doors, the pooling of water continued. We were offered the opportunity to stay at another apartment for the 2nd night and an alternate arrangement for the 3rd night which was inconveniencing. We did check the apartment suggested and my husband thought that too was not suitable with a layout that was not best for our family. To our disappointment, we stayed at the original assigned to us. The sewage smell seemed to lessened and the ceiling hole was patched. The Hosts were very communicative through Booking.com prior to our arrival. But after arriving there, we were asked to stay in touch with a 3rd individual for any concerns. The person that met us at arrival spoke very little English and handed over the keys. The Hosts stayed in touch over Whatsapp but it was hard to know if I was communicating with a Superhost or the owner of the property whose place we were renting, as I was sending my messages to 3 separate Whatsapp numbers. The Hosts made little attempt to meet us in person or speak to us over the phone and tried to sort things over Whatsapp messages.

The host is very responsive and helpful. The apartment had everything we needed.

Superb location, very close to the main sights and parks. 5 cute little balconies with spanish vibe.

Location was great! There were many restaurants nearby and it was a short walk to Alcazar and other points of interests. We were there when Seville won the Europa League and the view from the windows allowed us to see people celebrating in the streets. The Wi-Fi was very great! We appreciate the amenities that the host provided such as tea and marmalade.

The apartment needed a little bit of attention to fix minor things. The apartment seems a little bit old but overall there was a definite Spanish feel to it. There was a light fixture that needed repair on the stairs leading to the apartment.
