Casa Julia atico vistas playa Las Teresitas

Loved the location and the sea view and the balcony and rooftop. It was a 5 minute walk away from the beautiful Playa de las Teresitas golden sand beach with the wonderful mountains in the background. It’s a few mins away from the bus stop to/from Intercambiador Santa Cruz bus terminal which is 25 mins away and is regular (number 10) for 1 euro. Santa Cruz bus terminal to South airport is approx 1 hour 9 euros. Solo female traveller felt very safe there. Loved ice cream/ waffle place below. Not that noisy and very quiet at night. I had 3 great nights sleep in comfortable bed and I’m a light sleeper and normally only sleep 6/7 hours but had 9/10 each night which was bliss! There is a window in bedroom and there was no noise at all. Looks like there are 2 flats on each of the 3 floors. Place is as described and clean. Thank you for the water and fruit. Eric was great and helpful and came over when I couldn’t understand how to use the electric cooker and gave me help with places to eat and buses too. I could see lots of essentials in the kitchen if cooking too and they even had a tea strainer for my Indian tea and that’s the first time I have ever seen one as travel with my own. Loved the digital locks and being key free! Highly recommend Lena’s restaurant. A lot of seafood restaurants. Beach is busy but well organised as people come from Santa Cruz for the day. Lovely and relaxed in mornings and evenings. Beach has showers and toilets and beach bars reasonably priced and open at 10am. Sunbed and umbrella 4 euros in total so very reasonable. A few supermarkets there so not a problem. Worth walking around the village and going upwards to see authentic village and the houses if you don’t mind all the stairs! It’s great they don’t speak much English there but all menus can be scanned via barcode in English.

It didn’t bother me but yes on third floor so may not be good for some people. Others have mentioned it so thought it might have been sorted by now but the shower drainage is not good and can be mending quite easily.

I really liked the terrace with a shower and a beautiful view!

There is no window in the bedroom, ventilation problems, so it was stuffy. The terrace needed a second sunbed.

The Apartment was very well equipped, especially in the bathroom and in the kitchen. I really like the fact that items that were left behind by guests are being reused. Even sun screen, sanitary products, books and kitchen from guests are part of the furnishing. Cleaning products and detergent were available. The outside shower and the terrace are definitely a highlight. Due to the trees, there is a lot of privacy but less sun. The house keeper Eric is one of the kindest owner I’ve ever met who is always available for any questions. It’s his first priority that we’ve permanently felt comfortable. Check-in and check- out time were flexible.

The apartment was quite dark because there was no outside window in the bathroom and in the sleeping room. Sometimes there was food smell in the sleeping room or it was noisy when opening the window in the sleeping room. The last renovation of the apartment seems to be a long time ago. It would be great if some parts of the kitchenware would be replaced soon. Unfortunately, most of the attractions on the island are located in the south which takes an hour ride to get there. San Andrés itself doesn’t have many restaurants but Santa Cruz is only a 15 minutes ride away. We needed to leave the apartment earlier as planned because there were ants in the kitchen and in the sleeping room that couldn’t get under control by ourselves. Also the WiFi didn’t work constantly in the sleeping room and on the terrace. Eric was super accommodating and understanding after contacting him. He did his best to help us in any way. The apartment was a bit overpriced for the condition.

Very well equipped, clean and spacious. Loved the balcony area, overlooking the beach and the outside shower. Great views and an authentic vibrant village. Only a few minutes walk to the amazing Las Teresitas beach one way and supermarket and village facilities the other. Great bus service to Santa Cruz and plenty of restaurants to chose from nearby with great seafood. The top floor balcony is shared between several apartments but rarely anyone using it and lovely views and the balcony for this one is spacious and has views through the avenue trees across the beach.

Nothing, it was perfect, although the 2 flights of stairs may not suit some people. The ice cream parlour below was busy during the day serving amazing ice creams and crepes, but all quiet at night and the bedroom was well away from the road so we slept very well.

Nice apartment close to the beach. Cosy terarace with outside shower. Everything there what is needed for our stay including welcome present with wine and fruits. Comfortable beds. Nice restaurants in proximity. Friendly hosts. Good recommendation

Perfectly located in San Andrés, right above a very good icecream shop. 5 min on foot to the beach with multiple bars. A lot of great Restaurants around. Eric recommended us some and they were all great. Balcony with shower is perfect after long hot days at the beach.

The bathroom drainage of the shower could use some improvement.
