Plaza del Buen Suceso ( Wifi, terraza, Parking )

We had read reviews before so we were informed about the staircase which was no big deal. The property has an excellent location and a lot of space besides three bathrooms. For us it was perfect.

All was fine

Great location on edge of old town, walkable to everything. Very comfortable, very clean & well equipped, great roof terrace with beautiful views, sound of church bells, brilliant view of stars. Fully air- conditioned too. Internal marble stairs to first & second floor are very steep, so not good for those with mobility issues. Also internet doesn’t reach up to second floor or roof terrace, so booster might be good idea. Check-in is via an app, so you need charge on phone and internet access when outside front door for first time, which was a bit worrying. But it all worked out, & we had a lovely relaxing stay. Would definitely rebook.

Check-in via app was a bit worrying, in case we didn’t have power/internet access outside front door, to work it and get in - but it all worked out fine. Also internet didn’t reach up to second floor & terrace, but a booster would fix that.

There are steep steps up to the main bedroom, and another set of steep steps up to the second bedroom.

The massive amount of stairs, and no bathroom on the 3rd level with the second small bedroom

I liked that there was a pitcher of water in the fridge, a washing machine and drying rack to set up on the terrace for drying clothes, a huge awning for shade, and the air conditioning was super cold in every bedroom and main floor.

The pillows were uncomfortably lumpy and flat and there was a funky odor from the master bathroom. You need your phone for entry into the apartment. Make sure you have enough battery. If you don’t have good connection- think ahead and ask for wifi code; it will work when standing outside the front door. It seems stressful at first, but watch the tutorial and it will be fine.

The location is perfect. A comfortable and well equipped apartment.

The bedrooms are on two levels involving a great many steps. could be a difficulty for older or very young as quite steep.

Roof terrace was just bliss, location was excellent, apartment was huge and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Access was easy and the agent was lovely, will definitely return! Thanks.

Nothing

The central, but quiet, location and the spaciousness of the aparrtment. The Wifi was good (on the ground floor).

It was very cold in Seville, maybe unusually so, but the main heating system in the flat was broken or had been disconnected. The owners had left a small electric radiator (not very efficient) and a three-bar electric heater (which we thought was broken the first day because the 'on' light never came on). These were the only sources of heat, so the (high roofed) living area was always very cold. We also thought the stove was broken or disconnected, but it was because the fuse had tripped. The app-run locking system was faulty for the door to the apartment, and it almost never closed properly. It was possible to lock the door safely with the keys that were in the flat. But of course, when we checked out we had to leave the keys inside and leave the electric system beeping away, doubtless annoying the neighbours. More cosmetic/'vibe' notes: there was no welcome pack, not even two complementary coffee capsules, not even a note from the owners saying 'welcome', no booklet with tips about nearby shops or restaurants or about the flat or guides/maps to the city. Annoying features: the printed out wifi access cards are all wrong, as they are missing an initial J. The back of the TV remote is loose; the coat hangers by the main door are about to break off; there were hardly any clothes hangers in the upstairs wardrobe; there was nowhere to plug in the bedside lamp in the top bedroom and no inside door handle either, there was no soap in some of the bathrooms or for the dishwasher, the 'outisde'door of the fridge has come loose from the 'proper' fridge door', etc. All in all, it seems the owners don't care about the apartment or whether they get repeat business or high ratings. This is probably becasue it is in an axcellent location in a popular tourist town so they don't have to make much of an effort.
