Apartment Old Town

Did not like the apartment's location, The cooker top wasn't working, I sent a message the second day we got there to ask if there could let me know what to do, but there was no reply. Three day's before we were due to leave, I got a text to ask what time I would be checking out, so I sent text to explain our flights where at 6 pm so we will leave at 2. As I had asked previously for a late check out. The next day ,New Year's Eve, I got a phone call from them to say you have to be out at 11 am. I was trying to explain that I had asked for late checkout. They were so rude on the phone that they would not let me explain. Then another phone call from a man who was so angry on the other end of the phone saying we should have been out of the apartment that day at 11 am yelling down the phone, so I hung up, got about another four call . Then they realised that it was their mistake, no communication between them at all, but still made it a point to say you have to leave at 11am, I was so upset I asked what we were to do, walk around with our suit cases all day, plus we had our daughter with us who was born with down syndrome, it was not nice for her to see me all stressed like this. He then said, "You can go to another apartment to leave your case, which was up the hill. We had to get a taxi because we would never have walked it with suit cases, All I can say is never again Regards Geraldine

Second time staying at The Apartment Old Town. It is spacious and spotless. Appreciated the extra touches with washing up liquid, tea towels and tea bags, although we brought our own.Plenty of bathroom towels and nice to have some water on arrival. Lots of good restaurants and shopping close by. No need for a car and a 10 min taxi drive from the airport. The beach is an easy 5 to 15 min walk depending on which one you want. Communication with the host/agent was super and we were able to avail of a late checkout which was much appreciated. The apartment is above a restaurant and there are stairs to access it. We never had any issues with noise.
