HUWe have been there with family and freinds, rented 2 big apartments. All was amazing. Well equipped apartments, Seaview, location, nice people etc. We could reach easily all must see attracion in the area. I highly recommend this house.
HUWonderful place, firstl line on the beach. You can see the sunrise, moonset and dolpins from the terrace and hear the waves Roofterrace is a big extra.
GBGBThe terrace was fantastic to watch the spectacular sunrises, pods of dolphins and generally watch the world go by. The apartment is literally on the beach. We stayed in the upper apartment- all was functional and clean. The neighbours were lovely - a very chilled vibe.
The location was challenging for us. We didn’t have a car and there are no cafes/ restaurants within walking distance. Ubers are super expensive as it is so far out. We heard a rumour about a local bus service, but couldn’t figure it out. The supermarket is about a mile away, however you do have to cross a really busy dual carriageway to get to it. Some with limited mobility may struggle with accessing the apartment due to the spiral staircase.
USGreat location. Owner very pleasant and responsive. Great communication. Very well equipped apartment. Quite comfortable. Kitchen, dining area and sitting are nicely decorated and well sized .The bedrooms were somewhat small, but beds were good sized and comfortable.
Extra blankets and a cookie sheet pan would have been nice, but not a problem.

No restaurants nor bars within walking distance
USBahia Dorada was such a beautiful place. Right on the beach with a walking path, good swimming (albeit it's cold, but I like that), beautiful stars at night, a grill, full kitchen, laundry, 2 bathrooms, parking, a pool, etc.
I was unaware that we had to pay a security deposit via a 3rd party (PayPal). I never use PayPal for this because it's outside of Booking.com's policy and my credit card's protection. I wrote customer service and they let me know I didn't have to pay the deposit which I appreciated. I'm not sure how Booking.com (in general) deals with security deposits, but I would have gladly paid it if it was within the Booking.com policy. In the past I've been scammed by purchasing something via eBay and it took forever and multiple messages to get refunded via PayPal. It seems like an easy thing, but never again will I use PayPal for payment to anyone without knowing them. This host has been very nice, and this is not reflective of them, but the service they chose to use.
