CALovely cottage, right on the beach.
Definitely not for someone with mobility issues or lots of suitcases. Lots of stairs to get down to the property. So we took a risk ;since you’re advised not to leave bags in the car as it can get broken into) and left our suitcases in the car and just packed our stuff in a small bag to carry down to the apartment.
CHThe location and good parking. Great walk is in both directions along the coast and you can easily walk into Estepona (1 hour) and catch a bus back. Great terrace and fantastic views. Kitchen and the two bathrooms are good.
The property is damp and smells of damp. There was a celling leakages and the ceiling is flaking off in the one bedroom hopefully just a one off problem. The property is a bit more run down than the pictures make out.

GBThe apartment is in a perfect location right next to the beach. It had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The owner replied straight away to any questions. The supply of beach towels was welcome.
The shower didn’t drain very well and the pillows were not great. Information about the area would have been helpful, especially details of taxi companies as we did not have a car.
GBAlthough the Lena apartment is small it really is perfect. It's right next to the beach, it's quiet, the bed is lovely and comfortable, and the outdoor space is excellent. Everything is clean, everything works, and it's a brilliant place to relax. It's also great to walk or cycle into Sabinillas and Duquesa, and a car, whilst advisable, isn't absolutely necessary, as you can walk to Aldi and Mercadona in 15 minutes. I could easily live there, so if the owner reads this and ever wants to sell, call me! 😄
Nothing to put me off wanting to stay there permanently! Unfortunately previous guests had smoked, which was the first thing we noticed on opening the door. But we bought a diffuser and let as much air in as possible and it got better. The system for paying the deposit relies on having a PayPal account, which I have but never use and had forgotten the log in details. So that was a bit tricky, but neither issue prevented us loving the time we spent there, it really is a very lovely place to relax and just be.

I rented the first floor apartment. The access to the apartment is up a very narrow and steep spiral staircase. Overall this is a big safety hazard and it should be advertised accordingly.
