The apartment was amazing and in a great location. The pictures do not do it justice. The steps up are not a problem at all. Its only 4 small flights of stairs.

The apartment was very comfortable and in a very good location. We liked the quirkiness of the decor and having outside space.

4 flights of stairs to climb was a bit of a challenge

Redelijk makkelijk. We hadden gevraagd of we er een uurtje eerder in konden. Daar kregen we een formele mail op terug: vanaf 15:00 uur krijg je de codes. Uiteindelijk kregen we ze alsnog iets eerder, maar zonder communicatie.

Het dakterras biedt veel potentieel, maar daar is echt niets van gemaakt. Het terras aan het appartement was alle dagen zeiknat, wat je vervolgens weer het huis inliep, niet erg handig. Er hingen wat kapotte beschutting/zeilen boven.

The location was excellent, ideal for the old town

The apartment was definitely in a very good location for the old town. I must, however, point out the criticism we found! Despite arriving on time, gaining entry proved difficult for a little while. The apartment itself was bright and airy on first impressions, however the furnishings were tired and in some cases in poor repair. All the widows were very dirty. The sofa was quite gross, with stains and seating in a state of collapse, under the cushions, the material was torn and sagging, there was bits of rubbish under the cushions also. The bedding was poor, way past its useful life. Outside, on the balcony, one of the two chairs was breaking down, so sticking into one, when sitting. The photographs of this area, which is part of the sales promotion, shows TWO loungers, there was only one, this was in a very poor state, badly stained and seams coming apart. As we reported, the area was wet under foot, this got increasingly worse each day. The top terrace, which for some reason, had a table and five chairs, even though the rules state no visitors. There were cigarette buts on the Astro turf, the brickwork around the top of the handrail was loose. The bathroom hand basin plug was about two sizes too large, therefore couldn’t be used. The fridge door was messy around the top. Floor rugs were scruffy and should have been binned a long time ago. The lights on the landing stayed on all night, time switch not working, as there are glass bricks, this meant the apartment was illuminated all night. This could be an excellent apartment, however it has been neglected and really needs a deep clean with items of furniture replaced.

Great value for money, the property was in a central location that was easily walkable to all the main attractions and the rooftop had the most incredible views of the castle and rest of the city. Highly recommend.
