Valencian Dreams of the Proletariat NON-TOURISTY APARTAMENT

Apartment hall/lobby entrance very shabby dark and dirty. Apartment very basic, bad layout of area. Furniture utensils supplied 2 of everything (both cups chipped and homeware mismatched ) towels all very worn and tired. Not an apartment that you could relax in, if anything l did not want to go back there, at the end of my day. I felt this Apartment was expensive for what was provided.

The location was excellent (and quiet) - everything within walking distance with plenty of restaurants and bars practically on its doorstep. Shampoo, detergent, tea/coffee provided as well as chilled litre of water in the fridge. Host, who met us at the property, was excellent and generous with his time and advice. But ...

Very grotty and narrow stairway; extremely tight 'balcony'; basic facilities (eg one bowl!); described on website as having an inner courtyard 'view' (see pic); microwave had to be lifted from fridge to plug in; no bedside lamps/locker (reading glasses, books, etc had to go on the ill fitting laminated floor); no AC, fans going constantly; loo was broken and running unless DIY wire solution was pushed down correctly; don't be led by reviews, we've stayed in nicer, bigger and better apartments in Valencia for far less money. In our case, this was a €500/550 per week apt with an €1100 price tag.

Stairs would be difficult for people with mobility issues

Juan is a very nice guy that helped me a lot with everything i need.

Fantastic location, great apartment, cute details (the coffee room :) but above all, the host Juan was so welcoming and informative. He gave us great advice on where to go and what to do. If you go to Valencia, you absolutely cannot go wrong with a stay here.

The apartment has literally everything and every detail was covered.

Literally, each detail exceeded our expectation! The apartment is quite clean, fully equipped and quite central, we walked everywhere and not have to use any transportation. Especially, the owner Juan was so kind and lovely person. He shared his knowledge anout Valencian history and recommended us so many places we enjoyed to visit. Our experience in Valencia was definetely beyond marvelous with the help of our stay in this apartment. We'll definetely book here again for next visits :)

There was nothing that bothered us.

Host was extremely friendly and helpful. Stayed over an hour when I checked in to answer any questions and provide his personal recommendations.
