Apartamento Pargue Tropical

The apartment has lovely sea and mountain views from the balcony. It is very well situated to nearby shops, bars , restaurants and promenade walks. It is also situated within very clean and quiet surroundings with a good size pool.

The bedroom could do with net curtains as well as heavy curtains so they could be open in the day to let light in and not be on show. Also kitchen and dining area windows required curtains or blinds for evening privacy from nearby apartments . Parts of the shower need tidying.

The location is peaceful and secluded. The apartment is in a private residential complex at the far end of Los Cristianos and is very quiet for relaxing. The furnishings are comfortable and it is adequately fitted out with what is necessary. We would stay here again if the issues listed below were addressed. The nearest shop is approximately a 10min walk and the nearest bars & restaurants are 5mins.

The apartment is adequate. The bathroom could do with a full refurbishment and thorough clean. The shower is very poor although there is adequate hot water. The lock on the apartment door needs serious attention; if the door was locked using the key it was VERY difficult to open from the outside. At one stage we were locked out and could not get a reply from either of the contacts. Eventually another apartment owner helped and we were able to get in. We did get a reply, at last, from our contact but did not feel confident to dead-lock the door again. We asked the owner if the apartment had UK TV before we booked and were told Yes. Unfortunately this was hit and miss depending on the signal. Some days we had no channels, some days 1 channel and others more; but all intermitten with interference - not as expected. We would also suggest a net or voille curtain to be put up at the bedroom window. If the main curtain is open the occupant of the opposite apartment has a full view in; not what you want if you are dressing!
