Right in the centre of the old town close to the cathedral and the park and walking distance of the open air pool

It can be noisy and a Nepalese restart is directly below so can smell the cooking but it is worth it

Had a wonderful time in the apartment. Perfect location in the center. Relaxing place, also for a longer stay. Almost everything is there. Nice contact with the owner.

In an amazing part of Girona!! Beds were comfortable & heaters worked great as it was quite cold.

When we went to check in after the posted & agreed upon check in time there was still cleaners there & we had to wait in the rain, it wasn’t a big deal I just wish it had been communicated that they needed more time.

Great location in Jewish quarter. Balcony overlooking street, but not too noisy. Loved Girona.

Nothing we didn’t like

The location was perfect. Apartment was pleasant and had all facilities for a short stay. Good range of kitchen equipment and utensils, TV had Prime included which was a bonus, shower was always hot. Good storage for clothes. Nice little balcony at the front. Quiet at night with doors closed despite street location. First floor only - helpful with 2 heavy bags. Host allowed us a longer check out time which was really appreciated with a late flight.

Nothing that bothered us - maybe a more comfortable sofa would be good, more cushions. We didn't think the seating area outside was worth using due to flies and mosquitos but again, didn't bother us, once we were indoors, we preferred to stay inside to keep cool ( or out of the rain!l Communal entrance needs a bit of attention.

Great little apartment in a great location with all the amenities you need, great communication, and easy check in. Nice and quiet at night compared to some other streets that are nearer the ringng of the bells

Fabulous location and a perfect bolt hole for a mini work/leisure break. Set in the historic part of the town, the apartment is on the first floor. (No numbers on the doors, so I had to ask.) It is about 15-20 min walk (with suitcases) from the train station. I got a cab to the apartment and walked back to the station when I left. There are two bedrooms - I only used the double, which has an entrance to private courtyard terrace. This includes a washing machine. The bed was comfortable and the bedlinen was clean. the bathroom contains extra towels, and toilet rolls. The shower is very powerful and difficult to keep in the bath! The kitchen was well-equipped and it was great to have some coffee pods, washing powder, oil, tea bags etc. left to use. I added to the coffee pod supply for the next guests. It was a bit cold when I was there in January, so I was grateful for the blanket in the living room, and efficient heaters. A small terrace balcony off the living area was a lovely place to have breakfast and watch the people go by down the street. There is a great mini supermarket along the street for any essentials including fresh vegetables and fruit. At the end of the street is a good tapas place with seating outside. Multiple places to eat and drink nearby, I wish I had longer to explore. Easy to get to many of the recommended attractions. Despite a few minor issues (below) I would be happy to stay here again. Host was quick to respond to all my questions, although it took too long to resolve the wifi issue.

The keys were in a lock box, inside a post box. This was not clear in the arrival instructions and so I thought I was in the wrong place. The host responded quickly to help me, but could have been avoided. The apartment has a 'musty' smell, which I think is coming from all the dried/dead flowers and leaves. These can be a nice touch but I think they need to be refreshed. If this was an air bnb I think the standard of cleaning would be okay, but through booking com I expected higher standard - the soft furnishings need a refresh. There was no wifi access and it took nearly 4 hours of to-ing and fro-ing, looking through every drawer/cupboard etc. for the non-existent instructions. Thank goodness there was someone to ask, but it would have been better if they sent me the router name and password on my first enquiry, rather than insisting it was available in the apartment. I did mean to write it down for the next guest but I forgot. I was working while I was there and wifi was essential to this, it was a bit of drama and distraction I did not need.
