Mänty Holiday Apartments

The location was good. Apartment was always heated well.

The apartment wasn’t clean, for example there were food splatters across cupboards in the kitchen and the insides of cupboards were greasy and dirty. The bed bases were covered in stains which was off putting. The space was musty smelling and dusty. It might be an idea to open the windows between guests. The cleaning people left the door to our apartment unlocked numerous times throughout our stay as the cleaning cupboard was located in the footwell of the apartment. This meant the door to our apartment was not locked while we were out. During our stay the towels were not replaced even though the booking was made for 10 days. There was no washing machine in the apartment so no way to clean towels either. It is an old building so the sound insulation was not great. The apartment below us would have heard us walking / talking and vice versa. The way the apartment is advertised is deceiving. There should be separate listings for the separate apartments. For example our apartment did not have a sauna, dishwasher or washing machine. Be aware in the apartment we stayed in there is no lounge/common space apart from the dining table in the kitchen. We had to buy things for the kitchen for it to be really considered self-contained, not to mention how much cleaning we did in order for us to be comfortable there. Before using, we had to clean all the cutlery, crockery, jug and pots and pans. The dish clothes provided were dirty.

Spacious, clean but very dated with a lack of basic facilities.

Minimal crockery! 5 of us staying there and only x1 bowl available! It was also very noisy as there were guests downstairs both nights and could hear everything. The hotel also did not give us the correct codes to get in, had to call them after standing 20mins in the cold! One mattress very soiled!

Cheap and cheerful, just what we were after for one night! Bedrooms were very comfortable and a great size and the kitchen was very well equipped. Everything the previous guest spoke about had been fixed.

Curtains a bit small for the windows. Not much hot water for showers. Needed a bit more of a deep clean and maybe some decor or rugs to make it less clinical-looking.

After having read the reviews, I was really dreading going here but when we got there, it was lovely! Clean, no bad smells (I've got a very good nose for mould), very warm and it had everything we needed. The heat pump was very handy to dry the clothes after having got them wet outside. Location was good as well. We had a hire car the first 2 days. The rest of the time we walked or used the bus depending on where we were going.

The only thing I didn't like was that the spin on the washing machine wasn't working so when we tried to wash the towels, we had to wring the water out of them. But they still dried over night (we put them in the bathroom after having used the sauna and once sauna was cold, put them under the heat pump). And maybe the fact that we couldn't get the TV to show any normal channels, just YouTube.

We had a pleasant stay in the Manty apartment. We will be leaving the apartment today around 11 a.m. EET. We had a good time in the apartment. I will leave my feedback here. #Positive# The location of the apartment is good, and the area is quiet. Apartment heating works well, and the temperature inside the apartment is good. The living area and bedrooms are spacious, and there is enough space for a family of six members with three bedrooms.

#Can be improved# A few recommendations and suggestions, as I have already mentioned to the property owner directly via message. 1. The bathroom door and shower knob need to be fixed. 2. The bathroom and living area need to be cleaned properly. 3. The front entrance light area is not working. 4. Water kettle not working. 5. WiFi didn't worked. Overall, you can concentrate more on the cleaning part that covers the living area and bathroom.

Staff was rude, apartment was dirty.
