Lovely apartment, close to beach

One night some noisy neighbours were inconsiderate. I think it was a one off holidaymaker though as it didn’t happen again.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of everything. The apartment is in great condition and it was very clean. The host, Gabriela, the best we ever encounter...she was very helpful from the beginning after we made the reservation, provided great guidance to directions, the area and places to visit, she was waiting for us at the entrance of the building and walked with us and showed how everything in the apt. worked, left us a nice bottle of wine. BTW..the.along the walkway to the right out of the building, there is a very nice chiringito BASILIOS....ask for Alvaro the owner, great food, attention, next to the beach.

This apartment is a hidden gem in Marbella- let's start with Gabriela, the host- she was unique. We got delayed on the arrival time and she patiently waited for us as we got accommodated. Thanks for the welcome wine as well as the discount card to get such a unique dinner at La Lonja. The apartment is located in the heart of Marbella, location is unique as its directly in front of the boardwalk, extremely secure/gated, walking distance to the historic town and unique views of the ocean. The boardwalk takes you next to the ocean all the way to Puerto Banu- around 6 miles away but worth the walk / scenery and seafood on the way! The apartment is so close to the historic downtown that we had no need to drive the car and left it on the pre-reserved parking underground of the apartment. BTW- the historic area is filled of restaurants, bakeries, places to see and plazas. Even the well-known icon "chocolate and churros' "San Gines" from Madrid has another location there.

One of those places that is very hard/challenging to mention what was not liked, so this is just a personal experience that has NO bearing with the service, apartment or the area, just a heads up. The parking is underground and very safe/secure but we left on a rainy day and the road was very wet, to leave the parking to the street the road was very slippery and have to be done carefully - just after you exit the parking are eateries-it's a boardwalk area- that put their chairs partially blocking the exit and the parking gate has a timer to close.... In retrospective, having a second person outside assisting with the car exit will have be sufficient.
